Amazingly good looking beer, nice copper/orange color with just the right amount of white/copper-laced head. The aroma is out of this world, well balanced hops, a beautiful sweet fragrance and citrus overtones. Hops are the star and it’s absolutely fabulous. Too bad it’s limited availability. Awesome brew. Dont miss it if you visit San Fran. Naven (872), Poway, California, USA

Super nice gold/amber color. Taste is nice floral hops, with a decent malt back bone. Pretty much a perfect IIPA. goldtwins (4080), Nesconset, New York, USA

For the most part the malt is hidden but that is a good thing. Piney hop flavor does show its malty side however. Nice beer I would like to see them can this stuff. Deep golden amber color with a creamy off-white head that leaves thick lace. Rich, fruity sweet aroma, with plentiful citrus and pine hops, though nicely balanced with the rich malts. Sweet caramel malt backbone supports bold and bright hoppiness - orange, grapefruit and floral notes are prominent. Full body and creamy carbonation. Quite good overall. jimbowood (953), Athens, Georgia, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 3, 2006 Clear amber, very good off-white head leaving lace. Hop bails, fresh hops, lunaria, grapefruit and fresh blossoms in the nose. Some base by malted grains, and then the best hops in the world kick in, in a great way. Sweet with a point of sourness, but very little bitterness, the hops are pure flavour. Citrus again, of course. Middle to well-bodied, slick, oily. Great IPA, the strenght of Steve & Shaun, and the rest of the Californian brewers. And this sample wasn’t even in the best of condition! Storm (2685), Amager, Denmark
