Deep dark roasty all over, bit of charcoal, light bodied, nitrogenated, appreciable but not substantial hops. These are lighter, not necessarily more balanced brews and a daring move in a region full of gargantuan beers.

On tap @ 21st Amendment poured a translucent brownish black with a small lasting tan head. Aromas of roasted malt, coffee, bitter chocolate and a hint of vanilla . Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of roasted malt, coffee and cocoa with a lingering dry bitter finish.

A well balanced session porter. Nice mild rasted malts with some mocha and nuts flavors. Exceptionally soft and round mouthfeel. Mild Burnt toast and liquorice notes. Clean finish.

Tap@21st Amendment, Brewery,Restaurant and Bar. Just a nice roasted bitterness, toasty, with great balance, couldn’t ask for too much more in terms of drinkablity and flavour when it comes to a porter. Decent stuff.

Deep roasted malt nose, dark opaque brown color, clingy biege head. Woody malt base with a roasted malt bitter. Fairly simple, but good. Like the balance on this one.

Smokey sausage of a porter. Dark brown, clinging head, garnet edges. Rich roasted note. Good finish with some intensity. Smooth. (on tap at brewpub)
