Immediately im smelling that watermelon wheat. Some raspberries but mainly watermolen. Mouthfeel is very creamy and well carbonated, but it’s hard to get over that watermelon jolly rancher sweetness. It’s a bit too much for my taste. lamas (736), Adams Morgan, Washington DC, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 24, 2009 Can. A slightly hazy gold pour with a smallish off-white head. A sweet/tangy aroma of watermelon, yeasty wheatiness, and lemon rinds. Goes down thin-bodied. The flavor starts off sweet and tangy with plenty of watermelon. A bit on the artificial side. A grainy wheatiness follows. A crisp finish with some sour lemon. Very refreshing and poundable. beersearcher (310), Glendale, California, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Sep 21, 2009 Watermelon smell hits you right off. Light color and very clear. Watermelon is just right. Not too little but not cloyingly sweet either. HogTownHarry (4026), Toronto (Harbourfront), Ontario, Canada
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | Sep 15, 2009 Can ( 12oz ). Shared with blankboy, courtesy of my buddy Austin. Hazy gold, floaties, smallish white frothy head. Aroma - weirdly sourish peach or other fruity/vegetable - not bad, just ... weird. The taste is pretty solid watermelon - hardly any alcohol - pungently floral - again, odd, but nice. Watery, still body, slightly sour tingle left in the linger - pretty odd, I doubt I’d drink it again. fidel (1018), Livermore, California, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 14, 2009 Poured hazy golden yellow, clean, simple, grainy, jollyrancher watermelon, dry finish. Dorwart (1831), Robbinsville, New Jersey, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Sep 11, 2009 Thin fizzy white head of fine bubbles. Distinct wheat aroma with lots of straw and some cereal grains. Light fruityness which I guess is the watermelon. Watermelon has a weak aroma anyway so I guess I shouldn’t expect much. Color is a clear medium gold. Crisp and clean palate with more wheat and grainy flavors. Little bit of fruityness again. Finishes dry and pasty. A decent summer brew. Slipstream (789), USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 13/20 | Sep 10, 2009 A sunny-cloudy pour, Average looking can. Lightly sweet, malty aroma. This is an exciting concept - watermelon beer! Alas, the taste is pretty much strait wheat. Of course, the flavor of watermelon is very subtle even at its strongest. There is a dash of light, fruity sweetness, which is probably due to the watermelon juice. Hell or High Watermelon is an attempt at making something original, and it turns out to be a pretty typical weisse - but there is nothing wrong with that. daknole (3032), Scottsdale, Arizona, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Sep 4, 2009 Pours cloudy yellowish gold color with a very small head. Wheat, lemon zest, grains and a faint bit of hops. Flavor hits first with a fairly benign and bland wheat beer but finishes with some jolly rancher watermelon flavor(minus the sugar) A fun beer.
