Re_rate OBF 2004 Light gold color. Aroma is fruity and faintly watermelonish. A medium bodied fruit/wheat. Malts are fruity and sweet. Hops are slightly spicy. Watermelon flavor is muted and is somewhat masked by the malt fruitiness. Nicely balanced. Smooth taste. Watermelon has to be a hard fruit to get enough flavor from, I would imagine. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is slightly sweet.

Light gold color. A light bodied wheat ale. Fruit flavor is very subtle, its there but masked. Very smooth taste. Mouthfeel is full and round. Finish is clean and smooth. Aftertaste is neutral. A good wheat beer, but the melon taste is not really noticeable.

Oct 5, 2008 12-oz aluminum can. Thanks, Riverside! Pours a cloudy, ruddied light amber. Thin white filmy head. Minimal lace. Funky watermelon nose. Fizzy light body, notes of nutty wheat and sweet melon flesh. Mild finish.

Sep 22, 2008 12oz can, no date from <i>Bottle Barn</i>. Hazy golden with a short-lived off-white head. Aroma consisted of watermelon <i>Jolly Rancher</i>s and that’s about it. Flavor was the same tart and lightly sweet hard candy, though maybe toned back a hair with some wheat. Minimal bitterness noted in the finish. Light prickly carbonation with a medium body. This had the possibility to be pretty good, but ended up artificial and mediocre at best.

Sep 18, 2008 Can. Pours cloudy orange with medium head. You can smell the watermelon which is cool. Taste isn’t that great. It does taste of watermelon and wheat but as anticipated, tasted a bit fake. After drinking half I just wanted to finish it. I got it free in a trade from RiversideAK, so for free it was good.

Sep 16, 2008 Can shared by alexsdad06. Poured hazy orange color with an average fizzy white head that diminished quickly with minimal lacing. Moderate tart fruity aroma. Medium body with lively carbonation. Medium sweet green melon flavor with sweet green melon finish of moderate duration. This beer did not meet my expectations.

Sep 15, 2008 Pours with a golden body topped by a thin head with little lacing. It’s slightly sweet with light watermelon notes and a touch of wheatiness. Not as bad as I expected. Light bodied and smooth.
