Beer poured gold color with minimal head. Aroma of wheat and watermelon. Flavor was a good wheat beer with watermelon flavor that you get at the end. I liked it because it wasn’t too sweet and was a good wheat beer. 5000 (2900), Hardened Liver, Washington, USA

Still, I can’t hate on this beer, it is very drinkable, and at least they use actual watermelon, not just flavors or extracts. Pours golden and cloudy with a thin white head. Aroma is a bit musty/yeasty, no fruit aroma that I can make out. Flavor is moderately bitter, and the watermelon flavor appears in the finish. Very thirst quenching, but could be better. altonbrownd (1966), Amsterdam, Netherlands

Fruity, strawberry nose. Very watery taste with slight taste of candied watermelon. Not very pleasant. A drain pour, I’m afraid. jcos (59), Maryland, USA

I had one in a glass, one out of the can - the one out of the can had more watermelon flavor to it. The flavor is okay for a hefeweizen fruit beer, kind of a hefe with a slight watermelon aftertaste. Probably a better beer to enjoy outside in the summer rather than inside after a blizzard. dbarnold (20), Bethesda, Maryland, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Dec 21, 2009 from wholefoods in VA. Pours foggy, standard hefe, mild nose or light wheat, some watermelon. Palate is mildly watermelon, slightly sweet, decent overall wheat taste. Well made beer, i just don’t tend toward sweet hefe’s. mastabass666 (96), California, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Dec 7, 2009 cloudy straw colored beer, with a watermelon wedge if you get it at the brewery. the first time i had it, tasted like fresh cut grass. upon subsequent sessions, it tastes like a good wheat beer brewed with watermelons, as it should. the essence is more of the rind than the fleshy red part. so good, though. can drink this forever Ughsmash (4099), Waukesha, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 12/20 | Dec 6, 2009 Thanks to Bob for the can! Poured slightly hazy bright golden with a great initial cap of white head that settled quickly. The aroma picked up tart, lemony wheat with juicy watermelon rising as it warmed up.. very summery, but it still worked. The flavor found dry, tangy wheat throughout, with watermelon again giving significant influence.. tart lemon zest and watermelon seeds on the finish. Lighter-bodied with a crisp feel on the palate.. this was an interesting and enjoyable brew.
