A bit different from the usual red. Has a slightly nutty quality, up-front bitterness with a lingering, malty aftertaste.

Pours reddish brown. Aroma of caramel and a bit toasty. Flavor is is sweet and body is fairly full. Slight alcohol flavor in finish.

On tap at the brewpub. Pours a dark reddish chestnut color. Has a pronounced nutty aroma. The flavor presents a really big sweetness at first, followed by a discernable chocolate taste. This is a very nice beer. perhaps my current favorite poured here. I suspect that the recent formula is better than those served in the past.

Draft. Bronze beer with an off-white head. light citrus and caramel aroma. Balanced citrus, earthy, sticky malt and caramel flavors. Lingering hops on top of caramel. Medium bodied.

Nice looking beer. Reddish orange with an off white head from the tap. Hoppy aroma. Really looked forward to wrapping my taste buds around this, only to be disappointed. Seemed flat and bland. Like an old darker bud (forgive me)
