SDbruboy (1822), San Diego, California, USA Oct 29, 2006 On draft at brewpub. Slightly hazed medium amber with a small off-white head. Pleasant aroma, leading with floral and citrus hops, balanced by toasty malts. Stongly bitter flavor, again citrus hops leading and a bit out of balance with the thin malt backbone, lemon zest in the finish leaving an astringent, drying sensation in the mouth. Medium body and crispy carbonation.
ABUSEDGOAT (1924), California, USA Apr 21, 2008 Draft at brewpub: once again, very similar structure to the IPA. Typical PNW hop notes, caramel, medium to light body, quite drinkable. Solid. Yogi_Beera (2404), Hamburg, Germany Jan 20, 2008 On draught in San Fran September 2006: Light orange color, small head on top. Fruity nose. Flowery taste, an herbal kick in the finish. Medium lasting. Ale_Drinker (1073), Sunnyvale, California, USA Oct 16, 2007 Light hoppy aroma. Flavor is more malty. Mild bitterness. A bit on the bland side. Not impressive. Indiana_Red (1470), Boise, Idaho, USA Aug 14, 2007 Bottle pours a slightly hazy amber. Some bitter malt aroma. Some woody malt flavor but not good bitterness. Just not good.
