0.75 bottle at Akkurat, Stockholm (according to my notes this was 50/50 mix of Drie Fonteinen and De Cam, but I was pretty loaded at midnight after a day at the beer Festival). Thanks oh6gdx and tbone_! Hazy yellow brown color. Strogn acidic lemony and grapefruity aroma. Lemony and grapefruity flavor with wild yeast bitterness.

Bottle at Akkurat, Stockholm Beer Festival 2007, after festival RB night
Hazy golden color; creamy head. Amazing aroma: malt, wet wool, brie cheese, light leather, cork oak, dust, light grapefruit, mushrooms… Aggressive, extremely astringent, some sourness, with a light mix of citrus fruits (tangerine and grapefruit mostly). Very bitter.
Complex and dreamy.

Bottle at Akkurat - again Thanks Jens. Cloudy yellow - white head. Horsey, dusty, earthy, grape, gooseberries, citrus, high dryness. It is beginning to shop its age !!

Orange color, small white head. Fruity, sour nose. Very sour grapefruity flavor. Simple, a bit bitter alcoholic. Earthy. Quite alcoholic gueuze.

Bottle, Akkurat - does this place have any rooms? A cloudy deep golden coloured brew that offers a fairly small white head that mostly lasts. The drie fonteinen character cannot necessarily be rezognized upfront, it is indeed rather cheesy, basementy, almost earthy, certainly mushroomy cellar-like flavors that coexist beside the more typical citrus heaven. In mouth, the smooth champaign carbonation and soft medium fullness feel more typical while the funkiness seems a bit diminished or under control. This means that it’s mostly about wooden citrus, pretty much all of them, though lemon ould be the winner of the lot. Grows quite dry indeed and fairly acidic, but never agressive. Not 3F’s most interesting effort, but to call it minor would be an inconceivable overstatement. Still very fresh and bright.
