Gold-amber color, big dark white head. Hint of aroma is grainy. Medium Bodied. Round, grainy taste little bitterness. Hoppy aftertaste. Some yeast also; just a touch of alcohol. LIKES THIS BEER VERY MUCH !
Tatse this before at nov. 05, but this one is better. BonVoeux (40), Beveren-Leie, Belgium

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Mar 22, 2006 33 cl bottle, bottled in January 05. Peach coloured, muddy appearance, fluffy white head. The first hint of an aroma is grainy, a day or two old bread. Then fruity scents (tangerines, raisins) pierce through. Round, grainy taste with bitter background - a sort of grapefruit-like bitterness, rather than hoppy. Hops do appear timidly in the aftertaste. Some yeast also; just a touch of alcohol. Well carbonated. xnoxhatex (1305), Grand Rapids/Chicago, Michigan, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 16/20 | Mar 14, 2008 Bottle from brewery shop. Hazing golden with large white head. Nose is a lot of yeast and fresh noble hops very similar to the other Beersel beers. Flavor is very similar and very well balanced and very fresh, Medium well carbonated body. This is very similar to the regular version, I would like to try them side by side eventually. Kåstå (1149), Mol, Belgium
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 27, 2003 Cloudy dark blond beer with a huge quickly disappearing head. Yeast and light alcohol aroma. Slightly sweet full taste. Light roasted mature flavour. This beer was 18 months old and surprisingly mature and full taste. A neutral but a bit dry aftertaste. A nice surprise. shrubber85 (3011), Wallhalben, Germany
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | May 15, 2005 Bottle. Sweet apple/peach aroma. Orange yellow color - cloudy with tiny head. Sweet apple malt flavor with slight acidic finish. Fruity and enjoyable. pivo (2537), Germany
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 31, 2005 Metalic nose with some yeast and grass. Hazy orange color with a huge fluffy head. Soft apple-y malt, sugar sweet middle, light spice end that is gritty at times. Think body, chewy even, but fairly reserved overall. Nice. Jokes (1453), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Mar 25, 2004 Hazy golden with a quickly dissipating white head. Light and pretty sweet. Banana, clove and effervescence of a German Hefeweizen, but the relative sweetness of a dark belgian. Both mellow and sharp (does that make sense?) in the mouth. Spicy, fruity sweet, and a faint bit of hop bitterness at the end. Perhaps a bit too sweet for me at the time, but otherwise the best organic beer I've ever had. Deepest thanks to Dan at Monk's Cafe for this giving me this one.
