Very nice nose of malt and noble wood. Pretty tart taste; malt warmth; full mouth. A solid beer, pretty original, suitable for any meal (meat, fish, chese...). Interesting. Definitively, the previous time I had a bad bottle...
[2002-08-10, 4-3-3-2-7] Dry nose, with something unpleasant, medicinal. Pretty sweet start and drier finish, but in the taste there's something wrong, like a veggie soup. Strange experience. OlJuntan64 (1267), Perth, Australia
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jul 17, 2002 Translucent golden syrup colour with large buttermilk head and spatially sporadic lacing. Light fruit, chicken coop yeast and a miniscule dash of lavender perfumed dishwahing detergent aromas. Some lollipop candy is also there as it warms up. Medium body with surprising tongue tingling and bitter start. The middle has even more bitter but sufficient balancing malty sweetness to add interest. Finish is soft light fruit and a faint bitter aftertaste. Interesting, and a bit different. haukur (684), Reykjavik, Iceland

Aroma is very different from other blonde´s, very saisonal but with a more down to earth balance-ness! Massively yeasty with some coriander and spices, maybe some wheat. Copper bronze, moderate off white head and good condition. Sweet yeast and gentle banana fruitiness in the nose, more sweetness and bananas in the mouth with a pleasant underlying oxidized note, gentle chalky yeast lingering in the finish.

Light citrus, sweet and hops. Bit sticky but a bit thin as well. Long hoppy finish. Very nice beer but not exceptional. It’s like a mix between Duvel and Palm.
