Bottle, 33 cl. Retasted yesterday. Light hazy orange-amber color with a creamy head and good lacing. Aroma bit citrus, fruity notes, yeast, malts. Medium body. Taste yeast, malts, little sweet, dry end, bitterness. Nice brew.

hazy orange colour with a firm creamy head and a beautiful lacing; bready nose with citrusy, grapefruity notes; tart, medium to full malt body, some acidity and a long dry aftertaste of orange peel and almonds - a very nice brew

Rerate.
Hazy golden color; giant thick head; beautiful lace. Very nice nose of malt and noble wood. Pretty tart taste; malt warmth; full mouth.
A solid beer, pretty original, suitable for any meal (meat, fish, chese...). Interesting.

[2002-08-10, 4-3-3-2-7] Dry nose, with something unpleasant, medicinal. Pretty sweet start and drier finish, but in the taste there's something wrong, like a veggie soup. Strange experience.

Translucent golden syrup colour with large buttermilk head and spatially sporadic lacing. Light fruit, chicken coop yeast and a miniscule dash of lavender perfumed dishwahing detergent aromas. Some lollipop candy is also there as it warms up. Medium body with surprising tongue tingling and bitter start. The middle has even more bitter but sufficient balancing malty sweetness to add interest. Finish is soft light fruit and a faint bitter aftertaste. Interesting, and a bit different.

bottle (BB 06/06). Surprising, surprising! Golden duvel color with a dence head. Aroma is very different from other blonde´s, very saisonal but with a more down to earth balance-ness! Massively yeasty with some coriander and spices, maybe some wheat. Nice blonde

3 year old bottle, at Oud Arsenaal, Antwerp March 2005. Copper bronze, moderate off white head and good condition. Sweet yeast and gentle banana fruitiness in the nose, more sweetness and bananas in the mouth with a pleasant underlying oxidized note, gentle chalky yeast lingering in the finish.

Orange and caramel aroma. Golden, large white rocky head, beautiful lacing. Light citrus, sweet and hops. Bit sticky but a bit thin as well. Long hoppy finish. Very nice beer but not exceptional. It’s like a mix between Duvel and Palm.
