| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 2, 2009 Possibly Belgium’s best lager. Based on multiple samplings from draft (at the 3 Fonteinen café) and bottled. Full gold color and luscious, sturdy, white head. Aroma has some cereal but is led by loads of floral hops in the nose. Saaz in all their Noble glory. Crisply, unapologetically bitter, with faintly sweet cereals for depth. Fairly lively mouthfeel and nice dry finish. Really an excellent lager, but like all lagers it must be drunk fresh. ilovedarkbeer (1365), Dallas, Texas, USA

pours golden, thick white head.
Aroma and taste, a strong and present wheaty/grainy and malty palate and nose, some bittering hops come add a nice finish.
This is a rather very drinkable Bohemian pilsener.
