Aug 2, 2009 Possibly Belgium’s best lager. Based on multiple samplings from draft (at the 3 Fonteinen café) and bottled. Full gold color and luscious, sturdy, white head. Aroma has some cereal but is led by loads of floral hops in the nose. Saaz in all their Noble glory. Crisply, unapologetically bitter, with faintly sweet cereals for depth. Fairly lively mouthfeel and nice dry finish. Really an excellent lager, but like all lagers it must be drunk fresh.

Jul 31, 2009 Bottle thanks to Bu11zeye. Pours a nice looking deep gold with white fizzy head. Aromaof nice citrus, some faint yeast. Flavor of light malt with nice light citrus flavors. Mouth feel is light body with high carbonation. Overall, a very nice tasting lager, very interesting.

Aroma and taste, a strong and present wheaty/grainy and malty palate and nose, some bittering hops come add a nice finish.
This is a rather very drinkable Bohemian pilsener.
