MoritzF (3883), Ruhrpott, Germany Jan 16, 2007 (bottle) Hazy, pale golden colour with a foamy white medium-sized, lacing head. Slightly dustyand sweet fruity aroma with lemon zest and distinctive coriander notes. Slightly sweet and spicy bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a crispy mouthfeel. Initially malty, fruit-accented taste with a touch of honey; quite strong coriander-spicy but unfortunately slim and slightly hoppy finish. Pleasant, but definitely not Bohemian.
Dickinsonbeer (2550), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Sep 29, 2008 Fresh bottle at bbf 08. I have had bottles before that have not been so fresh, so I had been reluctant to enter ratings. This bottle was mostly fresh- Pours a nice clear golden with lively carbonation and a nice lasting white head. Aroma is a bit weak but nice and fresh- earthy spicy hops and a nice delicate light fresh biscuity pils aroma. Flavor is also moderate to light with the pilsner, mostly watered down a bit from what i expected, nice fresh floral hop kick at the end and relatively smooth. nice pilsner but not a real standout. xmarcnolanx (680), Kirkwood, Missouri, USA Sep 26, 2008 I love this beer.
I did not have much hope for it, but I was pleasantly surprised.
Aroma is fruity esters, grain, and hops.
Very grainy.
Taste is grainy, sweet, slight hop backbone.
Very well done cbkschubert (1605), Rattlesnake Country, Arizona, USA Aug 27, 2008 33 cl bottle - Pours a hazy golden color with a large white head. Decent lacing. Soft carbonation. Aroma is light esters, light grain, and herbal hops. Flavor is light grain and herbal hops. Medium body. A pretty nice Lager. AgentSteve (831), SF Bay Area, California, USA Aug 14, 2008 Pours lager like golden with a fizzy white head. This was an O.K. beer, but nothing worth tracking down. hotstuff (3045), Indiana, USA Aug 12, 2008 Bottle. Large white slightly frothy, and fizzy head that mostly diminished, one ring of lacing, visible carbonation, semi-transparent and semi-hazy, and a pale yellow hue. The aroma was lightly hoppy, citrus, fruity, a tad sour, some grass hops, and lightly malty. Ditto for the flavor with light honey. Fairly smooth mouthfeel and medium bodied. Easy to drink, nice balance, nothing truly special stood out about this beer IMO and therefore this is not a beer that I will pursue again.
