| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 5, 2008 Murky lemon yellow with just a touch of nectarine in the pour. Not a single bubble remained after a vigorous pour. Citrus, funky cold medina, and barnyard in the nose. Flavor is sour but refreshing. The tang sticks around for a couple of seconds but then disappears. Earthy, grassy, sour, funky, and woodsy characteristics. Starting to appreciate the style but would still take a stout or IIPA any day!!! tjthresh (1779), Greenfield, Indiana, USA
| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Sep 5, 2008 Pours golden amber working on brown. No head. Mostly flat. The aroma is pretty cheesy with some nice oak notes. Very tart and tangy with a long sour finish. Medium syrupy body. Really pretty nice considering I don’t like most lambics. radiomgb (2068), Peterborough, Ontario, Canada
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Sep 1, 2008 Bright golden-orange in colour with a thin off-white coloured head, very light lacing. The aroma is mildly acidic, some lemon citrus, tart, some barnyard and cheese. The flavour is very dry and tart, not so much acidic as sour, some citrus, barn and leather. Sour mouthfeel, medium/light body, medium/high carbonation. Finishes mid length, dry with some light citrus.
This is very good. A light gueuze but one of the most drinkable one out there. I ended up drinking a ton of this at Mondial.

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 31, 2008 Damn, this aroma is amazing. Lots of lactic sourness, funky hay-like yeast, citrus.
Taste is sweet maltiness, sourness, slightly watery, and a touch bitter.
Finishes refreshingly sour, crisp, a touch watery, and yummy.
This is really good.
I like it

| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 19, 2008 Bottle from Belmont Station in Portland, OR--Poured a fuzzy cider-esque golden-copper body with a fluffy white head that went away. Sour, tart, wheaten nose with lots of pucker factor. Funky, yet subtle and dainty. Acidic, dry, woody, nd well built gueuze. Yum! kosko20 (313), Bemidji, Minnesota, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 14/20 | Aug 16, 2008 To rate to style or to rate to personal liking...I will try to combine. Aroma is of a white wine with sour apple notes and hints of vinegar, wood, lemon and yeast. Appearance is cloudy apple juice with minimal carbonation, with the thinest of white heads around the edge. Flavor is sweet for a beer, apple, white wine, tart and wheat. Palate is thin but smooth, a slight sourness. For my first Lambic, it was a lot different than what I was expecting, still decent. And as strange as this beer was to me, I like it, I think its well done, balanced and not overpowering. BDR (2167), Roseville, Minnesota, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 2/5 | 12/20 | Aug 14, 2008 Sadly not what I’d hoped for. Watery with only the faintest sourness. The aroma was what I’d hope four - sour tart funk.
