Aroma is sour acidic but also contains some sweetness like sweet fruit. Light honey and light dust in aroma as well. The flavour is light acidic with a bunch of fruit and ends up bit sweet but still crispy and tart. beerguy101 (3969), Newark, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Sep 10, 2009 Sampled on 9/10/2009. This Lambic gueuze pours a apple juice yellow gold color from a corked and caged 375ml bottle. The beer was bottled on Feb 23, 2006. A very minimal to small white foamy head. The aroma is tart, funky, horse blanket, musty and sweet. There is also a touch of oak. A medium bodied lambic/gueuze. The malts are fruity and sweet, with a lot of tartness and funkiness. There is some woodiness at the finish. There is just a touch of carbonation here, it just hits the tongue and disappears. It kind of mellow and somewhat unassuming, which I assume is from the blending. Very nice, very drinkable gueuze, its tart and funky without being over the top. Yet the tartness seems to intensify as it warms. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is crisp and dry. Aftertaste is tart and funky. TheCaptain (559), Lancaster, Pennsylvania, USA

Very dry, low carbonation, very tasty. juiceisloose (677), Windermere, Florida, USA
| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 4, 2009 375ml bottle. Pours a hazy yellowish orange color topped by only a thin white film even with a vigorous pour. The aroma shows hints of soured apples, lemons, barnyard funk, and a weird burnt rubber smell. The flavor followed suit with the soured apples and lemons mixed with the funk, and more weird rubber tastes. I believe the yeasts have started to each other to cause this. Medium bodied and pretty low on carbonation but still drinkable and refreshing. I had high hopes for this one, but was a little disappointed. I hope to try a better bottle next time. tokyogoat (576), San Diego, California, USA
| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 2/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Aug 31, 2009 Pour looked like dehydrated urine with less head.
Nose was an oddly smooth funkiness, not harsh, slightly horse, some feint vinegar notes, and some slight lemon.
Taste was good, the low carbonation was quite nice, started with some nice bright citrus notes, fineshes with a slight vinegar flavor.
