The beer is hazy orange-brown with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel and candy sugar, but also slight notes of acidity and wood. The flavor is lovely sweet with a trace of acidity in the background as well as notes of oranges. The mouthfeel is quite flat. This is really a kids drink - very sweet. Fairly light-bodied with a distinct sweetness and some rather unusual - but interesting - accents of dried fruit. Lovely. 190506 omhper (12283), Stockholm, Sweden

The sweetness is subdued, but it opens the flavours of the lambic, and lifts them to another level. The mouthfeel is so beaustifully soft and the flavours concentrated. Usually faros are seen as dumbed down lambics, but in this case it’s just maginificent. fonefan (11885), VestJylland, Denmark
