I had this just as Mads and Jeppe at the 3 Fonteinen restaurant with a dish of rabbit in gueuze - just 2 months later.

The beer is hazy orange-brown with an orange head. The aroma is sweet with primary notes of caramel and candy sugar, but also slight notes of acidity and wood. The flavor is lovely sweet with a trace of acidity in the background as well as notes of oranges. The mouthfeel is quite flat. This is really a kids drink - very sweet.

Hazy amber golden, no head whatsoever. Tart aroma with some toffee notes. Fairly light-bodied with a distinct sweetness and some rather unusual - but interesting - accents of dried fruit. Lovely. 190506

[Draught at Københavnske Øldage] Cloudy orange, no head. Lively barnyardy aroma. The sweetness is subdued, but it opens the flavours of the lambic, and lifts them to another level. The mouthfeel is so beaustifully soft and the flavours concentrated. Usually faros are seen as dumbed down lambics, but in this case it’s just maginificent.

Flavor is moderate sweet and acidic - sour with a average to long duration, and a dry finish. Body is medium, texture is oily to watey, carbonation is soft to flat. (230508)

Muddy amber color; flat. It has some cellar aroma, and malt. Sweet Lambic, with low sourness, cellar, fruitness, light final astringency. Light but elegant final. Extremely drinkable!
