| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jun 28, 2008 750 ml bottle. Lots of sour funk in this beer. Flavors and aromas of cherry. Very tasty. Acidic in the finish with more sour and tartness to tickle the palate. Good Stuff AmEricanbrew (1808), Doing Rogue, Louisiana, USA

Huge seedy woody aroma with barnyard and fresh raspberries. Light/medium body. Flavor starts dry and tart with raspberry seed, wood with citrusy lemon and dry hay; nicely complex with a fairly strong acididty throughout. Another fantastic 3 Fonts brew. As for the big price, i’m just glad to have had the chance to try this without jetting to Belgium or giving up half my cellar stash.... airforce1 (61), Atascosa, Texas, USA

Nicely tart, but the action really came through on the funky character of this beer. Really nice. Great composition of fruit lustrous aromas and Thanks to DA for dropping some cash and bringing it to share. Defiantly worth sharing at a tasting. fredandboboflo (1404), East Setauket, New York, USA

Aroma luscious lambic juice, wheat, sour raspberry, strawberry, cherry, earth, funk, but all in glorious, full-flavor, full-body balance. Flavor, well, what more can I say after the aroma but that it all just continues in wonderful harmony. A lambic that’s at once splendidly tart, flooringly fruity, and superbly refreshing. My note-taking skills may have eroded over the course of many hours in 95 degree heat, but this one was a thing of beauty. LilBeerDoctor (1493), East Setauket, New York, USA

Pours a dark red/pink with a beautiful light pink head. Aroma of oak, raspberry, and tartness. Flavor of sweet raspberries, tartness, sugar. Initially this was very sweet but got more sour as I drank it. Quite delicious but it doesn’t beat Schaerbeekse for me.
