NoiZe (1288), Mooi Zeist, Netherlands Jan 16, 2008 Pretty much like the others say. This one is nice. The raspberry flavor is not sour at all.
Too much to add, too little to say :) tytoanderso (1382), St. Louis Park, Minnesota, USA Jan 15, 2008 Who hoo! Another gem from hellomynameis. Thanks a ton Zac! Aroma of fresh crush raspberries, slight infection, rubber, band aid and sawdust. Pours an attractive bright cloudy pink. Flavor is quite tart. Not sour, but tart. Quite woody with plenty of rubber, salt and a most unique phenolic characteristic. Lively, tart, fresh. Excellent lengthy finish. joebrew (608), Farewell Minny; Hello Puyallup, Washington, USA Jan 15, 2008 Thanks to hellomynameis for sharing at the MN RB Winter Gatheing. This beer was the epitome of barnyard with a huge dose of funky earthiness and leather with an almost waxy aroma accompaning the cherry and cranberry like overtones. the palate is brutally sour and almost tastes like fresh NW MT huckleberries as well as a good dose of leather, barnyard and some light cherry tones. Nice yeasty dry tart lasting finish. This is another great example of how addictive sour beer can be when done right. Very delicious! OSLO (825), Perth, Australia Jan 15, 2008 [Bottle, thanks Hellomynameis!] Pours hazy red with a tiny small pink head. Aroma is really really funky and sour with some cherry and a good deal of yeast too. Taste is quite sour with the funkiness once again strongly evident and some cherry. Medium thick mouthfeel with a bit of a dry finish. A nice lambic, but aside from being really funky, it really didn’t set itself apart. Skyview (4007), Papoose Jct., Minnesota, USA Jan 13, 2008 Sampled at MN Ratebeer Winter Gathering in Maplewood, MN and supplied by hellomynameis. From a 750 ml bottle pours a reddish amber brew with a fizzy pinkish head that really sticks around. Aroma of tart berries, strong yeast and with barnyard funk pungent. Taste is sour cranberry, quite sprittzy with additional flavors of tart raspberries, yeast and mallberries. Finish is very fizzy, with a sour berry and yeast aftertaste that really lingera round. JK (2946), Richfield, Minnesota, USA Jan 13, 2008 Hellomynameis was good to share this rare beer. Bright red color, very impressive appearance on this beer. The intense aroma has wild yeast and a barnyard character with sour fruit that includes raspberry. Interestingly, this seems to be thick on the palate for a lambic. Excellent flavors, with fruit, fructose, and considerable sour flavor and more yeast. This is something special. sunevdj (1765), Copenhagen OE, Denmark Jan 13, 2008 Pours a hazy red with a small diminishing head. Smells of raspberries. Quite sour with hints of bittereness and sweetness. Aromas of raspberries and black currant. Dry and sour finish. Bit too sour for me, but otherwize good. KAF (441), Coralville, Iowa, USA Jan 13, 2008 This was great. Solid red in color with not much head. Cherry and raspberry aroma. Quite tart in flavor which was a great suprise, with a hint of sour but not too much.
