75cl bottle from GBBF 2007 and kept for over 2 years, the bottles with no label. Isn’t it so good to have a beer that lives up to the hype? The aroma is perfect. So much raspberry fruit, it’s stunning. Brilliant clear red orange colour, with disappearing slight pink head. Raspberry, cherry and a touch of funk. Lovely in mouth, smooth, bit too carbonated, so I had to do a bit of decanting to get rid of the bubbles, but then this swallow of pippy raspberry and sourness starts and lingers into one of the best finish of a beer I’ve had. So easily a 10 for aroma, a five for appearance. The flavour amazing, just maybe too much verging on the vinegar. The sourness is excellent with just that touch of funk. The finish is unbelievable, but as I say, just that touch of vinegar takes the edge off.

Bottle a WTF OMG tasting. Pours a cloudy ruby red color topped by a foamy white head that quickly dissipates. The aroma is a mixture of raspberries, strawberries, really funky barnyard notes, and burnt rubber. Something just smells off and really wrong. The flavor follows suit with tart raspberries and strawberries followed by some acidity, heavy funk, and burnt rubber. I don’t remember this beer tasting like this. Medium bodied and touch syrupy from all the fruit with ample carbonation and a dry, sour finish. I would like to try this one again to rerate.

bottle @ WTF OMG! Nose was huge rubber, michelin, burning, funky as hell, autolysis, apple skin, sour grapes, raspberry, loads of acidity. Flavor was an overwhelming rubber flavor, loads of rediculous funk, cheesy, horsey, the whole 9 yards. The rubber was tough to get past.

Bottle shared at Toronado 22nd Anniversary, damn expensive but worth it. Tart berry aroma with mild sweetness and some funk. Flavor really incredible and long-lasting, tart yet slightly sweet raspberry and cherry, maybe some other berries, and wood. Palate awesomely dry and sharp. An awesome fruit lambic overall, one of the best I’ve tried yet.

Bottle thanks to nick for sharing at SDBF’09. Red with a hint of brown pour slightly cloudy. Aroma is of raspberries, and cherries mostly tart but has some sweetness to it. Flavor is well done with a slight oak finish

750ml bottle thanks to my friend Julien at Delirium Café. Pours red with a small head. Aroma is big raspberry with hints of cherries. Little tart. Taste is tart but not too much. Big cherries and some raspberries. A bit acidic but not much. The keyword here is balance. it really felt as a whole while having the raspberries and the cherries "fighting" for your palate and nose. Really dry finish. A really special brew dranked with great folks. Nice memories there.

Bottle shared at gears81’s wedding, Congratulations Jake!! Pours a beautiful translucent ruby color. Aroma is a light raspberry and lemon peel. Flavor is soft raspberry flavor with a little tartness but a nice sour finish. Not too funky, but more acidic and fruity. Carbonation is lively and and perfect for the style.
