Bottle at Rudolf’s Lambic tasting 2009. Pours a ruby red with small white head. Funky, musty aroma with light raspberry fruitiness thrown in. Taste was berry tartness, light funk, juice, acidic, right amount of sourness. Very well done

Thanks to the Indy crew for sharing this at the sexual chocolate tasting. Bright and shiny pink pour with a thin fizzy white head. Dry acidic fruity aroma. Flavor had hints of wood, raspberries and cherry. Slightly acidic dry finish

C&C 750 at Monk’s in Philly, shared with JCB and MrBendo. Bottle dats Feb. 14, 2007. OMG. LOVED IT! Cloudy, dirty red with a pink tinged head. Big raspberry nose, acidic, musty woodiness, some citrusy (lime?) notes. Funky raspberry flavors, tart, cherry finally makes an appearance, woody... just a whole lot going on here! Absolutely delish!

This red lambic ale poured with a thin pink head and a fruity floral aroma. There is a sharp raspberry flavor that is both tart and mellow - very dry.

Thanks a ton miketd. Pours a very nice ruddy pink with a flurry of carbonation and a thin pink fizzy head. Very pretty in the glass. The nose is very very tart, raspberries and cherries show through, spicy, woody, some earthiness. The flavor is very tart and acidic, fruity, spicy, woody. The palate is very lively from the bottle conditioning and leaves a long sweet tart finish. Wonderful brew.

Bottle sampled with Mad_indian. Pours deep hazy red with a huge pink head. Aroma of raspberries, yeast, hay, vinegar, and tart. The flavor is definitely tart, raspberry, wood, hay, funky yeast, with a bitter tingle on your tongue for a finish. Good body. Damn good lambic.

750mL Bottle. 02.14.2007. Flickr(http://www.flickr.com/photos/26049401@N0 Nose is absolutely strong. Tart, dry, funky, and dried cranberries. The merging of fruit and weirdness produces a unique emergence of red currents and vinous black cherries. Flinty. Pours a well clouded dark red and a rosey rim. Flavor is intense. Chewy ghost-like red fruit character. A blood of oranges, fresh cranberries, red currant jelly, plout juice, and some tangy very, very faint acetic nip. Cottony barrel, a bit of white grape juice and some long legs in port-like character. The acids are much, much softer than say a Gueze. Not a huge finish. Pretty quickly heading in to fruit lambic history. But, amazingly delicious with a light nip of almond in the backend.
