Pours a dark red/pink with a beautiful light pink head. Aroma of oak, raspberry, and tartness. Flavor of sweet raspberries, tartness, sugar. Initially this was very sweet but got more sour as I drank it. Quite delicious but it doesn’t beat Schaerbeekse for me. DSG (1515), Tel Aviv, Israel

Bottle drank at a friends’ house in Amsterdam. Deep red color with a small pinkish head. Magnificent raspberry aroma with some earth and barnyard. Wonderfully tart berries flavor with some citric notes, wood and earth. Great mouthfeel. Amazing. jasonp (1514), Sterling/Dulles, Virginia, USA

Pours cloudy dark amber reddish pinkish brown with a white head. Nice tart, berry-like funky/horsey nose. Whoah, pretty damn puckering sour - notes of lemon, citric acidity, berries, strawberry and no shortage of brett funkiness. Very well-attenuated, light bodied with moderate carbonation. Very good. | 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Nov 18, 2007 Courtesy dsnowden. Pink-purple color with floes of white soapy head. Grapeskins, raspberries on the aroma and a surprisingly low amount of sour or acetic aromas, but there is a nice bedrock of funk that the fruity aromas are lying on top of. Taste is smooth, elegant, and vinous. The fruit is well apparent and even with the sourness rather than bowled over by its intensity. The finish is dry and moderately sour, and leaves the fruit and remnants of the yeasty funk behind on the palate. A fantastic, well-balanced fruit lambic. RCL (1496), Waltham, Massachusetts, USA
| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 16/20 | Dec 20, 2008 Candied raspberries swirl with hints of funkiness and spices in the aroma. Medium tart flavor has great fruit with just enough wild elements to really make it an interesting brew. Excellent. holdenn (1451), Chicago, Illinois, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 13, 2007 I’ll quote Devon’s name for the tasting as "Drewbeerme is back and is a badass for sharing so many awesome Belgium beers" tasting with xnoxhatex and me. So this is the big one. Wow. 750ml, bottle dated 2/14/07. Pours a red raspberry color with pink highlights in the white head. Sour notes in the nose blend with the raspberry/cherries and a earthy funkiness quite nicely. The tart and earthy cherries and raspberries are the first flavors that come out. Surrounding this are the lactic oaky and sugar sweetness that meld to a beautiful symphony on my tongue. This is a great beer and on top of that I got to drink it out of my very own DrieF glass. Cheers andrew thanks! fredandboboflo (1431), East Setauket, New York, USA

Aroma luscious lambic juice, wheat, sour raspberry, strawberry, cherry, earth, funk, but all in glorious, full-flavor, full-body balance. Flavor, well, what more can I say after the aroma but that it all just continues in wonderful harmony. A lambic that’s at once splendidly tart, flooringly fruity, and superbly refreshing. My note-taking skills may have eroded over the course of many hours in 95 degree heat, but this one was a thing of beauty. nickd717 (1394), Palo Alto, California, USA

Tart berry aroma with mild sweetness and some funk. Flavor really incredible and long-lasting, tart yet slightly sweet raspberry and cherry, maybe some other berries, and wood. Palate awesomely dry and sharp. An awesome fruit lambic overall, one of the best I’ve tried yet.
