Bottled. Cloudy red colour, with small pinkish head. Fresh raspberries dominate the aroma, whereas the acid comes second. Flavourwise, acid is most prominent, with earth and raspberries coming after. It’s dry and tart, with a fresh raspberry feel to it. Good sparkling, with surprisingly mellow mouthfeel.

750 mL bottle purchased at Liquor Max in Loveland, CO. Pours hazy ruby with an average, fizzy, off-white (ruby) head, mostly diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is heavy malt (bread, hay, straw), average hops (flowers, grass), heavy yeast (horse blanket, barnyard) with notes of raspberry. Light bodied, sticky texture, lively carbonation, and a bitter finish. Long duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and bitterness.

Bottle (750ml) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a lovely cherry red with an average size pinkish-white head. Aroma: Oh yeah! Sweet malt, funky yeast, tart raspberries, light spices, oak and light hops -- just awesome. Flavour follows the aroma -- well balanced tart-ey goodness! Medium bodied. Fantastic stuff, a great example of the style. Thanks for sharing Harry!

Bottle at Spuyten Brettfest. Ruby red color with a beautiful, funkified aroma. Dry without being sweet, tart and somewhat puckering, cheesy and leathery. All good stuff in this.

Thanks to Eric. Pours a hazy raspberry purple. Aroma of funky tart raspberry, horse blanket, floral, sour yet fruity. Flavor of really tart raspberries, barnyard, funky and sour. Smooth despite the funky sourness.

Bottle, RBESG 07. A rather light raspberry aroma. A bit sharp edged - I would have preferred this more mellow. Acidy, sharp.

Bottle. Brown beer with a lightly sour aroma and a fruity and sour flavour. Overall a reasonable beer that seems quite standard.
