It’s incredible what 10 months has done to this beer. Extreme initial tartness has mellowed to reveal an amazing drink, an outstanding aperitif of sumptious fruit. 75 cL bottle pours a deep maroon-red, pinkish-white head fades fast. Huge nose of raspberry--real, fresh raspberry--with notes of lemon and bits of old goat cheese (wish I had some to pair). Incredibly juicy flavor, Intense but reasonable fruity tartness, with a wave of dryness bubbling out of the champagne-like mouthfeel. That real fruit reigns throughout.

Sampled at MN Ratebeer Winter Gathering in Maplewood, MN and supplied by hellomynameis. From a 750 ml bottle pours a reddish amber brew with a fizzy pinkish head that really sticks around. Aroma of tart berries, strong yeast and with barnyard funk pungent. Taste is sour cranberry, quite sprittzy with additional flavors of tart raspberries, yeast and mallberries. Finish is very fizzy, with a sour berry and yeast aftertaste that really lingera round.

0,75 l bottle, at Hopheads tasting at Roger´s place. Reddishbrown color, moderate white head. Aroma is fruity (berries) and some sourness. Flavor is sweet berries, lovely sourness, wood. Wonderful aftertaste. Very complexe and balanced lambic.

At RBSG, one of the earliest tasted, and I’m glad of that because I still remember it well! Beautiful bright pink pour with no head. Nose and flavor were tart cherries and raspberries that finished smoothly with toasted almond and oak dryness. A real treat!

Wish I could afford this more often in the bottle. Had it on tap in Beersel. Really love the blenders! Great place too.

Lovely genuine raspberry aroma and even more wondefull flavour, slightly tart, well balanced and extremely fruity. Deep looking, deep tasting and straight up just a pure joy to drink really.

Bottle shared at Toronado 22nd Anniversary, damn expensive but worth it. Tart berry aroma with mild sweetness and some funk. Flavor really incredible and long-lasting, tart yet slightly sweet raspberry and cherry, maybe some other berries, and wood. Palate awesomely dry and sharp. An awesome fruit lambic overall, one of the best I’ve tried yet.
