Bottle, from the BSF at the GBBF. An unclear but shiny cherry red, rough off-white head that settles away quickly. First layer of aroma is heavily wool; lemon, dandelions and pepper follow, then a prickly dry earthiness. It’s not until several sniffs in that the berries register. But then there they are, in a really interesting way. To my nose, its half the leather- tart underipe spring berries, half the noble rot berries of late season. Lovely mouthfiling lemon sourness, filled out with earth and leather. The raspberry character is here too, but a bit coy amid all the other flavors. There is a softness to the palate and a flavor that seems to suggest fruit, without actually being fruity. (If that makes any sense at all.) This is a delicously brash youngster. I can’t help but wondering what a few years will do...

Orange/red color with a fleeting white head. Huge seedy woody aroma with barnyard and fresh raspberries. Light/medium body. Flavor starts dry and tart with raspberry seed, wood with citrusy lemon and dry hay; nicely complex with a fairly strong acididty throughout. Another fantastic 3 Fonts brew. As for the big price, i’m just glad to have had the chance to try this without jetting to Belgium or giving up half my cellar stash....

Slight mercury-red hue, with a pinkyish-white head, but falls quickly, nice barnyard, musty, wet oaky, fruity nose of faint winey, acidic raspberries and cherries tartness, with a leathery, horseblanket funkiness, with some hints of sour rhubarb, and lactose in the aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a very nice wild yeast, brett funkiness, acidic, tart, fruity sourness character, of delicate raspberry and cherry mustiness, with some tannic notes of cherrystone, with a good carbonation, the mouthfeel seems less dry, than a cantillon rosé de gambrinus, but leading towards a fruity, acidic, raspberry tartness, sharp finish.

Bottle. Pours a dark ruby red color with a small pinkish white head. Fruity sour tart raspberry aroma. Sour fruity raspberry flavor with some hints of tart cherries. Fruity slightly tastr finish with a long aftertaste of raspberries. Lovely.

750 ml bottle. Lots of sour funk in this beer. Flavors and aromas of cherry. Very tasty. Acidic in the finish with more sour and tartness to tickle the palate. Good Stuff

Much thanks to egajdzis for sharing the fairly new beauty... BB 14/02/2007. Appears a murky red with a pinkish, white head that slowly fades out. Scattered streaks of lacing are left around the glass. Smell is of raspberries, tart gooseberries, farmland, dusty barnyard, and light vanilla. Taste is of the mentioned aromas with funky plastic, rubber, grape leaves, bugs(bacteria fermentation), raspberries, and apples. Mouthfeel is medium bodied, sour, with phenols of funky plastic, and exotic plants.

Candied raspberries swirl with hints of funkiness and spices in the aroma. Medium tart flavor has great fruit with just enough wild elements to really make it an interesting brew. Excellent.

75 cL bottle, thanks to Ungstrup. Pours red with no head. Aroma is sulphorish and raspberry citric aroma with an underlying woody note. Flavour is quite sharp, berry (and beyond raspberry) and strong acidic flavours. This is utterly great.
