Oct 19, 2007 Bottled. Pours out in a hazy reddish oale colour with a low pink head. Strong acidic and fruity aroma of cherries, wood, wild raspberries, mild grapefruit, and fay. Dryish, acidic and fruity flavour of blackberries, cherries, wood and bretts. Long acidic and sourish finish of cherries, hay and wood. Damn nice!

Nov 28, 2007 pours a bright red with no head. Super funky sour nose with some berry tartness with a small hint of cherries on the flavor.Finish was tart as well.I am typically not a fan of this style, but felt this was well done and enjoyable.

Aug 11, 2008 Bottle (750ml) shared with HogTownHarry & garthicus -- courtesy of HogTownHarry. Pours a lovely cherry red with an average size pinkish-white head. Aroma: Oh yeah! Sweet malt, funky yeast, tart raspberries, light spices, oak and light hops -- just awesome. Flavour follows the aroma -- well balanced tart-ey goodness! Medium bodied. Fantastic stuff, a great example of the style. Thanks for sharing Harry!

Nov 29, 2009 Sample think that sparky 27 was responsible for this one two. Raspberry sour aroma with what seemed to be winter silage aroma from the old cold Wis days. Good raspberry flavor with a sourness to it. Also something in there couldn’t quite figure out what it was. So will just call it the funk you guys talk about.

Aug 9, 2008 Bottle while in San Diego on 08/01/2008 for the RBSG Friday Pub Crawl. Slightly hazy red body with a small pink head. Sour, cherry aroma with some funk aroma. Very sour cherry flavor, hints of raspberry. Medium light body with moderately high carbonation.

Sep 26, 2007 Pour is a beautiful dark ruby red. Only minimal head. this is the second, or third time with this beer and I thought the head was bigger...may be mistakin’. Aroma is nice...Sour Cherries, rasberries and yeast...very pleaseant. Flavor is sour fruit and a bit of funkiness. Nice, smooth easy drinker.

Funky, cheesy aroma: lots of funk and tart red fruits (predominantly raspberries, with a bit of ripe cherries). Medium-to-full mouthfeel: funky cheese and ripe raspberries; relaxed tartness and overripe red fruit; dense, pleasantly funky lambic; medium, tart fruit finish.
