Jun 7, 2009 [Bottle] from ygtbsm94. Thanks Brad!! Pours a clear deep pink with a small, effervescent pink head. I can smell raspberry jam from about two feet away, and undeniable sharpness that hints at the tart lactic acidity. As it warms, the brett character becomes evident as well. The flavor is absolutely amazing. Loads of juicy raspberries, crazy acidity and tartness, just enough funk, and a touch of dry oakiness. Crazy, crazy delicious, and one that I can see aging really well.

Horse blankets, raspberry, oak, minerals, awesome! Super effervescent up front with earthy wood, minerals, aspirin, tart berry...so f’ing good. Barnyardie funk as well...thanks Tom, I love this!

Aug 23, 2008 (750ml) Thanks to MartinT for sharing this treasure. Pours a medium white head with a brown-red body. Nose is earth, seed, green leaf and tart raspberry. Flavour is nicely soured, limes and raspberry. Lasting tart finish.

Oct 4, 2007 bottled 02/07. Generously shared by beastiefan2k. Deep blood red colour. Aroma is very fruity with sweet dark cherries and spicy cherry skins and pits. The aroma is very spicy and earthy with a lovely soft sourness. Really incredible nose. Soft vineous character, earthy and fruity. Light and restrained funkiness. Lots of nice earthy spiciness mixed with a leathery funk. Lightly lactic on the finish with more soft fruitiness on the finish. Fantastic brew.

May 26, 2009 C&C 750 at Monk’s in Philly, shared with JCB and MrBendo. Bottle dats Feb. 14, 2007. OMG. LOVED IT! Cloudy, dirty red with a pink tinged head. Big raspberry nose, acidic, musty woodiness, some citrusy (lime?) notes. Funky raspberry flavors, tart, cherry finally makes an appearance, woody... just a whole lot going on here! Absolutely delish!

Jan 13, 2008 Bottle thanks to Jbrus: Pours a hazy red in color with a pinkish white head. Aroma, lots of raspberries up front, tart and funky, some sour cherry notes, lemon, amazing. Flavor, tart and funky, strong raspberry notes, don’t get much cherry maybe just the added tartness on the finish, some acidity but not overly sour. This was excellent.

Jul 4, 2008 Bottle shared by my son Enniskillen from Bottleworks; Nose is horseblanket and sour cherries cloudy raspberry colored with a nice pink head; flavor is very tart with nice cherries; nicely funky without completely overshadowing the cherries; excellently balanced!

May 25, 2009 Bottle. What a hell of a tribute. Pours a pulpy ruby body with an off white lacing. Cherry pit, and skins. Very low acidity with a light woodiness, fresh tart raspberries and delicious sour fruit character. I love this beer!
