Aroma has notes of cherries, raspberries, leather, and barnyard funk. Deep medium cherry red hue with a small pink head that nearly diminished and left no lace. Flavor is sweet and really sour with a short finish. Palate is medium bodied and lively. I was no fan of sours but lately it’s all I’ve been craving and this beer is the best I’ve had to date. Very complex and fun with a pucker factor of 10. Enjoyit (1783), Vadum, Denmark

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Oct 13, 2007 I’ll quote Devon’s name for the tasting as "Drewbeerme is back and is a badass for sharing so many awesome Belgium beers" tasting with xnoxhatex and me. So this is the big one. Wow. 750ml, bottle dated 2/14/07. Pours a red raspberry color with pink highlights in the white head. Sour notes in the nose blend with the raspberry/cherries and a earthy funkiness quite nicely. The tart and earthy cherries and raspberries are the first flavors that come out. Surrounding this are the lactic oaky and sugar sweetness that meld to a beautiful symphony on my tongue. This is a great beer and on top of that I got to drink it out of my very own DrieF glass. Cheers andrew thanks! KimJohansen (7149), Copenhagen V, Denmark

| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jan 15, 2008 Thanks to hellomynameis for sharing at the MN RB Winter Gatheing. This beer was the epitome of barnyard with a huge dose of funky earthiness and leather with an almost waxy aroma accompaning the cherry and cranberry like overtones. the palate is brutally sour and almost tastes like fresh NW MT huckleberries as well as a good dose of leather, barnyard and some light cherry tones. Nice yeasty dry tart lasting finish. This is another great example of how addictive sour beer can be when done right. Very delicious! padrefan98 (788), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Aug 3, 2008 From a bottle shared at the Grand Tasting during RBSG 2008 in San Diego. Lots of sour cherries in the aromas and sweet sourness in the flavor. An excellent lambic, one of my favorite of the day. wetherel (1641), Encinitas, California, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 29, 2007 Updated: Sep 30, 2007Bottle from ygtbsm94, Thanks Brad!Tasted in line at Alesmith’s September 2007 BA release. Cloudy pink color. Small head composed of microbubbles. Aroma reminds me of a mellowed gueze. Mildy sour and mild funk. The raspberry flavor was good, and pleasantly different than other raspberry beers, because of the lower unfermented sugars. Was expecting a punch in the face of flavor and sourness, but found a world class beer that is easy to drink. Something that everyone would like connoiseurs to grandmas. Excellent.
