Courtesy dsnowden. Pours a cloudy amber with a big white head. Overwhelming carbonation. Big sour aroma with a hint of apples. Taste is a very clean sour apple that fades off quite nicely and leaves a little bit of apple as a remembrance.

Courtesy dsnowden. Thanks Dan for this uber-rarity. Opened with an intense POP! Pours a hazy, light tangerine body with a massive, billowing, off-white head. Intricate patterns of thick tapestry lacing coat the entire glass. This beer looks incredibly inviting. The aroma is as intense as advertised. Easily the funkiest nose I’ve ever encountered. Searing citric acids scream from the glass and singe the nose hairs instantly. Horseblanket, dust, barnyard, and farmhouse yeast impart an incredibly funky, yet earthy element. This brew smells almost aboriginal, as if was born of and has become one with the earth. The flavor isn’t as intense as the nose indicates, imparting just the slightest bit of malt sweetness into the fold. Still, this beer is a lesson in intensity. Raw lemon, grapefruit, and tangerine sourness assault the tongue. Funk, earth, and minerals round things out. Perfectly carbonated, medium body. Stinging and sharp finish. This is a fantastic lambic. Excellent blend.

Courtesy dsnowden, big thanks Dan! Poured a cloudy straw color with a persistent white head. Aroma is an elegant amalgam of citrus, flowers, funk, and earth. The aroma is pretty mild and delicate compared to the taste, which despite the aggressive tartness present is smooth, with a light spice and white pepper touch present along with a healthy smack of sour that lasts for a while. Delicate and strong at the same time. Fantastic.

Courtesy dsnowden. Thanks a bunch for sharing this beauty Dan!! Pours a slightly cloudy orange, with a huge, fluffy, foamy, white head. Just luscious sour tartness, lemons, and 3 Fonteinen funk are the only ways too describe the aroma. Just what i expected. It did not disappoint. The flavor is extremely complex for this style. Very tart, yet not over the top. The sourness is certainly there, but there was some earthiness and a noticeable sharp intensity to this beer. Very lively. Seems almost perfectly blended. Awesome!!

(750ml Bottle, 2003 vintage) Pours a hazy golden body with a medium-sized foamy white head. Strong aroma of barnyard, white grapes, lemon zest, and pineapple. Flavor of white grapes, light apple, grapefruit peel, white pepper, and florals with a dry, lightly bitter finish.
