Bottle shared by miketd. Thanks Mike!
Pours rich and murky yellow. Smell is funky and sour and very gueuze like. Taste is tart, sour and very similar to the Rose but maybe a bit sharper and more tart. Medium body. Decent, but too mild flavor-wise aside from the neutral sourness for me.

Bottle shared by miketd at lb4lb’s tasting. Thanks man! Poured a hazy orange color with a moderate white head. Aroma consists of barnyard funk, yeast, and some citrus undertones. Tart, sour entry with some citrus (lemon, orange, and light grapefruit) leads into a funky, barnyard yeastiness with a dry finish with more moderate citrus and funk. Dry, crisp mouthfeel. Beautiful beer.

Poured a very nice golden orange with a slight cloudy presence. Effervescent lively carbonation that creates a huge rocky white head. Awesomely funky aroma full of pungent cheeses, horseblanket farmhouse aromas. Flavor is a very soft and subtle tartness that was much less than expected. Some fruits, cheeses, leather like qualities melded nicley with a perfect amount of acetic sourness. Ever so soft and smooth palate...that is incredibly drinkable. God do I wish this was even slightly more accessible, as I would drink this every day possible. Perfect for a nice, sunny, and warm memorial day weekend.

Amber with a slight haze. Thic butl loose head. Clearn farmhouse, foot and cheese on the aroma with horseblanket and leather. Bracingly tart crab apple with beautiful leathery character, aggressive sourness. Hardcore and brilliant.

Bottle from fonefan. Opened at Bill’s epic sour tasting. I never traded so much beer and went through so much stress to get the J&J’s. I’m pretty glad to finally try them. For the record I like Isabelle best, then 1996 Cantillion Gueze, then Blauw, then Roze, the 3F Gueze, etc. Lots of carbonation, could have let the cork go flying. Pours a yellow amber color. Mildly sour. Easy to drink. Delicious.

Bottle shared by marsiblursi (way too many thanks!!!). Pours orange/gold with a monstrous fluffy white head, even more than the Roze. The lacing from this stuff was unbelievably impressive. I’ve never seen lacing with so much depth coming off the glass before. It was quite a sight. Aroma was way different than the fair lady, with less funk but perhaps more brett sourness coming out. The taste was quite a bit maltier to my surprise. Still sour, but not as much as the Roze. Lively mouthfeel and slightly tart finish. As this one warmed up a bit, I started to really enjoy the mellowness of this beer.

Bottle shared with HogTownHarry, blankboy, jerc, mabel & tupalev - courtesy of jerc & mabel. Lively pour with a hazy gold colour and a big white head. Aroma is funky, tart, yeasty and acidic - more assertive and rough than the Roze, but equally appealing. Flavour is acidic and funky, tart lemon juice, some mustiness, some pepper, and a bit of sweetness lurking behind. Like the Roze, a very good beer, and a real treat - thanks for sharing, guys!

Bottle (750ml) shared with HogTownHarry, GregClow, jerc, mabel & tupalev -- courtesy of jerc & mabel. Pours a cloudy orange-amber with an average size creamy off-white head. Nice funky yeast aroma along with some citrus and light spices. Flavour’s also of funky yeast, quite sour and citrusy. Compared to the Roze that we had before this, it’s funkyer, more sour and more acidic. Medium bodied, quite carbonated. Like the Roze, this is also very good. Thanks to jerc for sharing these!
