There was a problem with this beer in that pauline decided to drink it for me and then become almost sick as she was hungover and the last thing she would want is a stomach fool of acid, therefore no notes and only a score. I do recall it being very nice all the same. Grovlam (3810), Copenhagen, Denmark

| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | May 24, 2007 On draught at the brewery. Dark ruby red with a great fine-bubbled pink-purple head. Woody lambik shines through the cherry aroma. Wonderful lemony lambik with mellow cherry and almonds flavours. Balanced with quite a dry woody finish. Smooth and medium-bodied. Can a kriekenlambik get better than this?
