The color is orange and it has a beutiful head. The flavor is sour yet sweet at the same time with strong notes of the wild fermentation. A fantastic beer. Papsoe (14996), Frederiksberg, Denmark

Hazy golden with a fine little creamy off-white head leaving laces. Classic gueuze aroma of horse blanket and manure. Medium body with very dry Brett accents, fruitiness and even a light underlying bitterness. A very mellow gueuze which is pleasantly drinkable and not excessively sour. 211008 omhper (12222), Stockholm, Sweden
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 5/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 15/20 | Apr 8, 2004 Bottled. Deep reddish golden with lively head. Citric acid and wood up front. Strikingly malty and full bodied for a geuze. Complex flavour with cobweb and grass. The mouthfeel is however a bit bold and clean. A very interesting beer, but if you really want a superb Drie Fonteinen, go for their Kriek van Schaarbeekse Krieken. yespr (12173), Copenhagen O, Denmark

Very nice citric aroma, seems to have a little fruit. Cloudy dark orange colour. Good citric flavour, some yeast. Good dry aftertaste, very well-rounded. Nice mouthpuckering, but nice and sour, yet mild and round. 9 3 8 3 19
