| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 21, 2009 Aroma on this was just rediculous. So sour, tart, rich and cheesy. Taste is crazy good, so mouth puckering and delicious. Some citrus fruit and cheese too. Finishes super dry. AtlAggie (139), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | May 8, 2009 Bottle brought back from Brussels (bought at Beer Mania). Wonderfully and unbelievably complex gueze...everything a gueze should be, to the max. Huge head, lots of froth. Funk of course, but a lot of maturity behind the funk. Citrus, sour, dust, and age, dry and tart, all rolled up together. Lovely. fonefan (11878), VestJylland, Denmark

Light unclear golden color with a large to huge, frothy, good lacing, fully lasting, white to off-white head. Aroma is barnyard, grapefruit, citrus, cask wood, sour, so complex and so easy ;o)). Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and moderate acidic with a long duration, very refreshing and dry. Body is medium, texture is watery, carbonation is lively. | 4.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Jan 3, 2009 25 oz bottle. Pours a fairly clear straw gold body with a perfect fizzy white head, nice spritzy active carbonation. Just about perfect on the nose for my tastes, a bit of cork, lots of cobweb cellar funk, oak, citrus rind, very soft smelling. The flavor is as bone dry and funky as I was expecting, citrusy, sour, woody, dusty, soft wheat. There’s just another level of complexity that comes with these traditional Gueuzes that I just love and makes them so much more fun to drink than any other style. Mouthfeel is bone dry with some light oaky tannic dryness, perfect pinpoint champagne like carbonation. Very good beer. Now if I can just manage to hold onto more bottles of Gueuze so they can hit the decade mark. Miver (575), WillowStreet, Pennsylvania, USA
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Nov 2, 2008 Wow. I never thought I would see this one. Thanks Jason for the generosity. Poured hazy gold in color with a large white head that diminished quickly. Aroma of barnyard funk, oak, light lemon citrus, musty. Extremely drinkable. Light acidic, lemon citrus, oak, musty, and earthy grass, or hay. Guezes are supposed to peak at 10 years and I believe it. This was fantastic. jrob21 (1275), Atlanta, Georgia, USA
| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Nov 1, 2008 Big ups to AtlAggie for sharing this one and big ups for passing the bar as well. Poured an opaque orange with a big bubbly white head. The aroma wafted from about a foot away and had a bit of citrus and some some funky stinky cheese aspects. Each sip was totally different with this beer. The first one exploded with some tasty citrus fruit, the second went a little more to the sour side of my palate. Third sip I got a bit of the dirty malt profile. Incredibly complex beer that I will reminisce about for a while. hopdog (5612), Lansdale, Pennsylvania, USA

Poured a medium and hazy golden color with a larger sized white head. Aromas of funkiness, oak, citrus, hay, musty, and barnyard. Tastes of funkiness, citrus (lemons), green apples, wood, vanilla, and earthy. Nice sour and tart finish. Now to have this again when I’m semi-sober!
