Poured a light orangey color with a medium bubbly head. Fantastic aroma with a funky barnyard musty note. Taste was a mixed well balanced lemony, tart, and light sour note along with some medium light oak. Without doubt drinkable with almost no acidity and some great carbonation! Mellow, soft, and a well balanced, quite refined Gueuze. Without question an outstanding Gueuze for the ages even after ten years. KimJohansen (7149), Copenhagen V, Denmark

Balance, complexity, and all fruit notes excel here. Maybe my favorite from 3 Fonteinen. Aging is working well as of 8/22/08.

The sourness and acidity were very relaxed, the aging mellowed this out very well leaving behind a beautiful mellow cloudy orange brew. ironchefscott (342), portland, Oregon, USA

The aroma is of mold, barnyard, horse blanket, citrus fruits and dust with tropical undertones of mango. The soft sweetness from the malt makes a perfect balance to the tart and sour tones. The flavour is light sweet and medium sour, tart and acidic with tones of citrus, toasted/cracker-like malt, barnyard, horse blanket and mold. Bit fruity. The mouthfeel is clean and medium dry. Medium bodied. Fantastic.

Hazy deep golden color with a big white head. Aroma of barnyard, quite a lot of citrus and nice oakiness. Very sour flavor with loads of funky character, lemon, some grapefruit notes and wood. Medium-bodied with soft carbonation. This is outstanding! hapjydeuce (773), Del Mar, California, USA

Huge thanks to who brought this. Cloudy yellow color that pours still. Fantastic aroma that is both sour and yeasty with notes of biscuit and grass. The flavor aspects are very well melded and show signs of its age. Near-perfect amount of acetic tartness. Smooth grainy, earthy finish that is no task to keep drinking. Really, really good.
