Pours a murkey dark amber read with a pale pink head. Wonderful tart funky and cherry aroma. Flavor of malt, cherries, and rhubarb pie. Finish has the perfect amount of tartness and acidity. Excellent. PilsnerPeter (2653), Flushing, New York, USA

Fantastic aroma! Leather, extreme funk, acetic notes, oak, farmhouse old cheese and even more wild fermentation craziness. Crisp sharp acidic feel. Very sharp flavor. Has some oak, acetic/vinegar, sour cherries, lemon juice, and a strong acidity overall. Very cleansing. A hardcore Fruit-Lambic with nice character. LordCorkscrew (982), Ronco Scrivia (GE), Italy

| 3.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Jul 7, 2008 Nice ruby red color, but no head at all. The smell is loaded with tart cherries and oak, it is also acidic and the horse blanket is lower than in others, but I prefer it this way. Taste is acidic right off the bat, tart cherries and oak are blended nicely with some horse blanket coming through in the finish. This one had very low carbonation and the mouthfeel was medium bodied, with the finish being somewhat dry. This one was pretty good, and I’d say taste is higher than 4, but I can’t give a 4.5. I also can’t say I’ll be getting this again as it’s just not worth the extremely high price I have to pay to get it. stefanje (950), (Santee) San Diego, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 17/20 | Jul 1, 2008 375 ml bottle from SBD. Pours a dark purple color with a small pink head that soon recedes to nothing. The aroma is overtly sour with grapes, cherries and a bit of funk. The flavor is likewise very sour and tart with cherries, grapes and a hint of granny smith apple. The mouthfeel is light but satisfying with soft carbonation. The finish is short, dry and sour. I paired this with Comte cheese and they went together superbly. Overall: This is a very fine sour beer. Recommended.
