The aroma is of sour cherries and some other sour fruit with some sour yeast as well. The flavor is mostly of sour cherries wih a touch of sweetness to it, but the sourness doesn’t overpower at all. Medium bodied mouthfeel with the right amount of carbonation. This one is easy to drink and finishes clean with a slight sour finish. This is really well done for the style. | 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 4, 2008 Pours a kind of ruby grapefruit color with some pink highlights. The aroma is very dry, with some sour cherries, hay and fresh cut grass. Very sour on the palate, and a tannic structure almost that just screams for cheese, that would cut through some of the acidity. well balanced with a great mouthfeel. marcus (1902), Sacramento, California, USA

This bright red lambic poured with a pretty pink head that, unfortunatley, lasted less that a minute. This is a sour drink brewed in the traditional manner with lembeek cherries. The flavor is subtle and mellow and very delicious, almost creamy. BossHossBikes (148), California, USA

The aroma is a dry, bitter sourness and some hints of cherry and gratss. The flavour is of cherries and has an extremely tart tinge. Towards the finish, there’s a dry, sharp cheese-like flavour mixed with the sourness as the cherries diminishes. As the brew warms, the sharp cheese mouth-feel as well as the flavour is a little more noticeable behind the intense sourness. This is delicious. Jerre (1768), Waregem, Belgium

We got 2 large shipments of his at my old work (2003) and were never able to get it again. Should have kept more bottles for myself .. Æv! pepsican (885), The Student Ghetto, Iowa, USA

Pours a bright red body with almost no head. The aroma; wow, this is gonna be sour, cherries soaked in citric acid. The flavor is not surprisingly, really sour. I mean brutally sour at first. But is is nice, with some wood and sweet flavors that were really dominated by the acidic flavors. Not bad at all.
