Jul 15, 2007 Updated: Sep 9, 200737.5 cL bottle. Pours red, hazy with a quickly disappearing crispy head. Aroma is cherry sweet/sour and sulphorish. Biting sour flavour with clear cherry notes. Dry finish. I had my hopes high for something great, this was mediocre :( 6-3-6-3-13
From 75 cL bottle. Pours hazy red with a diminishing pink head. Sulphorish cherry aroma. Dry cherry flavour. Slight sour/citric. Sour citric finish. Nice. 6-4-7-3-14

Jul 12, 2007 Wow, this beer is something else. Appearance and aroma are very standard for its style. I get a lot of barnyard and cherry tart. The taste follows suit. I get a little garbage cherry, and not fun flavors. But hey, that’s what it is supposed to taste like, right? Anyway, not my favorite style, but it is kind of growing on me.

Jul 9, 2007 Bottle, 75cl corked. Murky reddish pink body, almost a little orange. Quite difficult color actually. Some pinkish white head. Cherry-based aroma with horse-blanket, citrus and almond. Quite nice cherry flavor with barnyard and a little hint of almond, quite sour. Medium body, quite astringent, with lots of citrusy flavors at the finish. Along with cherry of course. A nice beer! Jul 9, 2007 Updated: Sep 5, 2007Bottle from Holiday Wine Cellar, December ’05. Deep ruby red color with plenty of carbonation. I have never really been a huge fan of lambic brews, some Ive enjoyed, others not so much. Pretty bitter aroma of blended cherries and darker fruits. Intensely sour flavor induced by wild yeast, more cherry and oak wood. Worth a try, but I dont see anything special here.

Jul 8, 2007 pours near still red. aroma is huge brett and cherry. taste is barnyard and brett with sour cherries. finish very tart and is quite acidic. a very sour lambic.

Jul 7, 2007 (Bottle 37,5 cl) Vintage 2001 - in my version simply called "3 Fonteinen Kriek". Pours a hazy reddish with a bubbly, reddish head. Fresh, tart cherry aroma. Medium body with tart but also very fresh cherry notes. Distinct Brett and horse blanket - all the usual stuff - with a vaguely fusty edge. Excellent. 280607
