Bottle (Düsseldorf Gathering) Slightly hazy, reddish-pink coloured, pinkish foamy layer; deep sourish-fruity nose with a touch of horse-blanket; dry sourish (-fruity) flavour, light bodied; lingering sourish-cellary-fruity-dry finish. Very good, very refreshing, very complex..........

Bottled in December of 05, this pours a deep red with a pink, thin head. The aroma is powerfully full of sour cherries and a hint of alcohol. The flavor is sour, tart, and dominated by a dry cherry flavor. It finishes clean though it coats your mouth well. Overall, this is my second attempt at a lambic (this one fairing much better than the last) and I liked it very much.

Redish colour. A white to pink head. Sour and vinous aroma and taste. Also some wood and grape in aroma. hummm....

Light pink head with light carbonation. Reduces quickly. Sour tart raspberry aroma with some cherries also. Bright cloudy cherry red in color. Sour, tart, dry with lots of cherries. Very puckering. Makes the mouth salivate. Dry tart finish with a lingering sourness. Just not my style.

Bottled Feb 2005. Dark red color with a very thin head. This does not appear nearly as carbonated as most lambics. Nice aroma of dark cherries and oak. Oh... it’s definitely a lambic... Big sour and tart cherries right off the bat. A little wood and citrus. Malt is totally burried. Very nice!

One of two great bottles shared on New Years Eve 2006/7. Served as an aperitif to unsuspecting guests - certainly evoked some interesting reactions :) Poured a hazy blood orange red/pink, with a slightly pink head that faded quickly. Did look impressive in champagne flutes. Smell of wet horseblanket and dung, pomegranite and cherry stones with a squeeze of lemon. Taste has more layers than a Nicky Clarke haircut. Sour, dry cherry most prominant, with wood and a slight hint of salt and vinegar. Totally odd, totally unexpected and totally wonderful

Bottle, a ruby red colour with no head. Cherry aroma with a good bitter sourness. A smooth palate at first with a great lingering light sourness. Cherry flavours back with some tannin flavours. Excellent.

375 ml bottle. Lot Number 2 bottling date 12/05. Purchased at the Holiday Wine Cellar in Escondido, CA. Pours a deep opaque pinkish red. There was a nice pink head that quickly receded into a small white film. The aroma is potent sour cherries, I could smell it as soon as I popped the cork. The taste is extremely delicious sour tart and of course cherry filled. It fills the mouth and is probably the second (or third) best kriek lambic I’ve ever had. The taste really lingers nicely.
