Tart funky aroma with a lot of barnyard funkiness, horseblanket and sweet sour cherries. Sweet smelling from the fruit countered by the earthy oak wood character.
Funky sour tart intensity up front that is puckering and mouthwatering but also very acidic. Again the sweetness of the cherries are organic and not artificial or syrupy. This sweetness is balanced by the very funky tart notes and the earthy wooden oak. Tmoney99 (4800), Cincinnati, Ohio, USA

Poured a hazy red color with an average frothy reddish head that mostly lasted with good lacing.
Moderate cherry yeasty aroma.
Medium body with a dry texture and lively carbonation. Medium sweet & sour flavor with a medium sour finish of moderate duration.
This beer met my expectations. DSG (1515), Tel Aviv, Israel

Deep Red color with a big, quickly-diminishing, pink head. Aroma of fresh cherries, some cheese notes, barnyard and medicinal notes. Sour cherries flavor with some lemon, some sourish candy notes, light medicinal quality notes and finishes with some astringency. A good kriek. JulienHuxley (239), Trois-Rivieres, Quebec, Canada

Dark ruby coloured, medium sized pink head, sour sulphury nose. Quite fizzy. Sourness is dominant here with notes of cherries and wood. Also sour finish and aftertaste. Good lambic but 5.95€ is too much. Doggythedog (1601), Split, Croatia
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 7, 2009 Bottle (bottled 14.12.2007) courtesy of and shared with ogivlado who brought it from Belgium (huge thanks!) Poured a hazy ruby red body with a big pink head. Fizzy. Funky nose, slightly sulphury, not a trace of fruit. The taste is quite sour, salty almost, a bit chalky near the end. No real notes of cherry, just some background sweetness that might come from there. The sourness sticks in the aftertaste. I can kinda dig it but I expected some fruitiness and it was lacking here.
