Bottle from Toronado S.D. Pours a hazy deep pink with a thin head but fades. Aroma of very tart cherry, brett, and lots of lacto. Lots of all around lambic flavors including a real sour finish, although not as acidic as some cantillons. Funky all the way through with a moderate amount of cherry that has lost some of its freshness which is nice. Very nice overall- I liked this a lot better than the oud beersel oud kriek.

bottle shared at July BA tasting. Pours a ruby red with essentially no head. Nose is of sour cherries. Taste is tart, sour cherries with some oak. Mouthfeel is thin and the sourness is not overpowering. Rather good.

luv tha kriek, love da Drie!! aroma is the bomb! sour cherries and a bloody nose of funky fruit!! .. . light headring, glimmering bright red, a peach to look at .. .’my kinda cold medium’? .. . wonderful free flowing cherry notes throughout, light yet puts its foot down 2 the ground .. . acetone, cherry juice, wild cherry flavours ... i feel like the guy who arrested jason bourne, then got my ass kicked for being a stooge..

The aroma is sour, funky, and smells like a cherry scented urinal cake. The appearance is deep red with a foamy head. The flavor is like the aroma which is not good. The palate is smooth and thin. Overall this is not my thing I don’t like it.

the beer does a sour flavor, but it not go overly sour in a funky way. the raspberry is slightly with a mild jammy flavor. fizzy carbonation, good for what it is.
