Mar 16, 2009 Purchased at Bruisin Ales. Pours a still deep ruby red with scatter red bubbles on top. No head or carbonation at all. The nose shows rich cherries, cherry skins, hints at the acidity, yeasty. The flavor is very sour and tart with a nice acidity, cherry flavor comes through. Mouthfeel would have benefited from some carbonation, mildly watery.

Mar 11, 2009 375 ml corked bottle@Oud Arsenaal, Antwerp. A fingerthick pinkish head upon a deep purple colored body. Aroma of sour-acidic cherries with some citrus and a light wooden note. Cherry-flavored; starts tart and sour, then a certain fruity sweetness developes. Also hints of cheese, wood and almonds. Quite thick mouthfeel. Ending up with a tart, lingering sourness from the cherries. Easy drinking considering the style, and utterly refreshing.

Pours a dark cherry reddish color. Head just while pouring and directly after. Aroma is a wonderful blend of funky sour cherries. The flavor is really nice, sour bite of cherrys with an incredible dry finish. Slight acidity in the finish. I liked this Kriek a lot...well made.

Mar 5, 2009 Thanks BMan1113vr for this one. Pours a dark red/purple with a pleasantly cloudy appearance. Smells of sour cherries and dark wine, with a hint of barn. Tastes nicely tart up front, followed by the sweetness of dark cherries.

Mar 4, 2009 Bottle marked 12 Dec 2007. Pours with a small, pink head that settles over a deep, hazy maroon body. Aroma of funk, port wine, merlot grapes, horse, leather, cherries, pineapple, oak, vanilla and barnyard. Taste is very tart up front followed by dark cherries, wine, dark fruits, leather over the approx. 45 second duration. Finishes with a light vinegar and olive note. Slightly puckering mouthfeel. Dry, light carbonation.
