Bottled. Opened up with the family for my birthday celebration. One of my more favorite Kriek lamibics. Beautiful hazy ruby color and light, crisp pink head. The aroma is right up in your grill with fresh and tart cherries and grassy yeast skunk. Very nice. Flavor is quite sweet, with acidic notes of lemon citrus underneath the main cherry backbone. Bountiful carbonation that tickles the palate, ending very dry and puckering. Really enjoyable, but expensive!

North Raleigh Tasting! Bottle from 3/1/05. Hazy red color with a white head with red hues. Nice sour smell. Flavor is sour cherries, very nice and definitely a highlight of the tasting...

750 bottle tasted in my 3F Geuze glass. Hazy, dark red with little head. Beautiful color and well carbonated. Funky, cherry, horseblanket nose. Taste is the "bite" very sour, acidic, lactic with the cherries very evident at the end but not overpowering. Superb beer with very few equals. This is the limit of beer, not the hop bombs that we see in the ratings.

01 March 2005 bottling date. Brilliant copper cherry color with a reddish tinted head. Big barnyard, wet wood, cask aroma. Medium body and smooth. Very good sour cherry, lemon, and barnyard flavors here with a slight red vinegar acidic essence. A very tasty treat. 12137

Bottle, 2006. Aroma of barnyard and mildly sour cherries. Flavor expands more with sour and tart notes, and a wealth of different berry notes, cherry, raspberry, blueberry, black currant, ya know, berries. Loved it, but I’ll take those puckeringly sour Cantillon krieks any day.

Bottle (label said March 22, 2006). Pours a deep ruby red with a quickly dissipating pink head. Aroma of tart fruit and sourness. Taste of tart cherries, cherry pie, pie crust, and a little touch of cinnamon. Delicious! Not too sour (which is a plus for me). My favorite lambic to date!

750 mL bottle purchased at Liquor Max in Loveland, CO. Pours sparkling dark ruby red with a small, fizzy, pink head, mostly diminishing with spare lacing. Aroma is average malt (hay, straw), light hops (grass, lemon), average yeast (barnyard, earth) with notes of cherries, wood, antiseptic and band aids. Medium bodied, oily texture, average carbonation, and a bitter finish. Average duration, light sweetness, heavy acidity and moderate bitterness.
