Jun 22, 2007 Good looking pour - a clear ruby body with a dash of brown and a creamy pink head... i.e.something that could get you into trouble at a southside Chicago bar. It smells of tart cherries (presumably Schaerbeekse), vinegar, wet hay, and a touch of Brett funkiness. Fairly light body, it tastes of cherries with a building sourness that leads to a resfreshingly dry finish. Jun 15, 2007 Bottle, 75 cl. Deep red and cloudy, with a large but quickly diminishing pink head. Very pleasant cherry aroma, with some earthy notes of horse stable and a light wooden(?) touch. Vivid carbonation. Very sour finish, but still in a refreshing way.

Jun 12, 2007 Pours a nice red with a pink head. The aroma is a combination of cherry, vinigar, leather, and earthiness. The flavor is sour and vinigary with sour cherries and a background of earthiness. Finish is acidic, tart, and sharp upon the palate.

Jun 11, 2007 Bottle (much thanks to boboski!!) Pours a deep burgundy color with a thinnish pink head. Oh the delicious aroma! Huge amount of cherry in the nose, with some sourness and lambic mustiness/funkiness. Cherries dominate the flavor as well, but in such a subtle & delightful way, balanced with a hearty dose of sourness. Not really sure what a Schaerbeekse cherry is, but I know I like them! This was so easy to drink!

Jun 10, 2007 A fantastic fruit beer. A deep red colour with slight pinkish tinge and a medium plae rose head. Aroma is of sour cherries and cherry drops with lambic funk but not 2 overpowering. Taste is cherries, cherry stones, nutty earthyness with a fantastic sourness and carbonation. Works perfectly giving a yummy tart finish. Not 2 sweet but rich in cherry flavour. Fantastic kriek

Jun 8, 2007 (Bottle 75 cl) Vintage 2004. Pours a hazy, reddish with a huge, pink head - quickly fading though. Aroma of sour cherries. Medium body with a very high carbonation, again sour cherries in the flavour - the sourness lasting all through the finish. 090507

Jun 8, 2007 Bottle. A red color with a pink head. Sweet cherry aromas with ginger and cinnamon flavors. Wonderfully inviting aroma and a rich earthy, wood, cherry and spiced flavor. Thanks to the bachelor party crew for this one!
