Fantastic aroma of cherries, oak, light acid and almonds. The flavour is sour cherries, oak, almond and dried fruit. Creamy and smooth texture. This is by far one of the best sours Ive ever had. mreusch (745), Olathe, Kansas, USA

Pours a mostly clear reddish pink with a moderate pinkish white head that lingers. Aroma is just enough funk to be interesting, with sour cherry and oak mixed in nicely. Flavor is lovely as well, with more bright sour cherry, light funk and oak. Great balance of funk and tart with a nice dry finish. Wow, this is a tasty one and a nice way to move past that nasty Papier. Thanks mucho Dan! TampaBrew (901), Tampa, Florida, USA

Poured a murky red. Nose was sour cherries. Flavor was sour fruit, sweet cherry mixed with young cherries. Very very tart. Awesome kriek. Finished dry and woody. Scauca (415), Lovere, Italy
| 4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 15/20 | Aug 21, 2009 Beautiful hazy red with a thick pink head. Aroma is strong woody and sour cherries. Not that elegant as other kriek I had. Flavour starts sour toward a mellow lingering cherry taste. KAME (156), California, USA

Aroma is super jammy and up front, and much more present than in the Hommage. Flavor is more subtle with some nice tartness, sour cherries, and clean acidity. Super clean finish that was perfectly sour. This was fantastic. andersand (392), Malmö, Sweden

Unknown age of this old bottle with the old label.. Aroma is real cherries, none of that candy like crap and it’s mixed with a good dose of funk, cheesy and sweaty. Flavour is similar with very deep fruit flavour and real wood mixed up with lovely funky stuff. Tastes like eating bugs that are eating cherries. Lovely and in nice balance. MrGGen (244), Italy

Colore rosso vivo con una schiuma spessa e persistente.L’aroma delicatissimo di pura ciliegia. In bocca è frizzante e secca e un pochino acida ma molto ben bilanciata.Deliziosa e godibilissima! CharlesDarwin (1867), Point Judith, Rhode Island, USA

Flickr(http://www.flickr.com/photos/26049401@N0 Insane dense dark pie cherry aroma. Tangy, pure, fresh cherries. Wow. Absolutely ruby. Glowing. Fantastic. Pours a murky dark rose-red, with pink fringes and a lightly-tinted pink-white head. Flavor is tangy and fluffy. Very tart and citric acid. A light bit of sweetness works well with the bright, flashy fruit. The fruit has really sunk into the lambic funk. Super cottony. I think the palpable red cherry juiciness has faded into the funk a little, but what a wonderful dense character. The tart, dry acid works so well with the cherry sugars. Ends cleanly, with a bit of cherry skin stem, and light dustiness. This is one lambic I would suggest drinking fresh to get the full enjoyment of the cherry character.
