| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Jan 21, 2007 Big thanks to Secret Santa for this one! Popped open for today’s NFL games. Pours a deep ruby with a hint of amber, slight pink head fades quick. Aroma of funky barnyard, a bit of cheese, and tartness. Flavor is initially sour fruit, immediately overwhelmed by barnyard funk with a touch of cheese, and a long, sour, almost vinegar finish that hints of cherries. Great stuff. papajohn (1055), San Diego (Mira Mesa), California, USA

Nose is black cherry and red wine vinegar. Flavor starts stong vinegar and oak with some leather and a black cherry tartness that tapers off to a long dry acidic finish. Light-medium bodied and silky with lively carbonation. PRICEY. dwyerpg (2553), Las Vegas, Nevada, USA
| 4.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 10/10 | 4/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 19/20 | Jan 18, 2007 Lovely cherry horse blanket aroma. Tar of course, but nice. It’s not real biting. A pretty unsour finish, but with cherries the whole way. Excellent. beerguy101 (3972), Newark, California, USA
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jan 10, 2007 This fruit lambic pours a deep cherry red color from a 75cl bottle. Medium sized white foamy head. Aroma is cherries, leather and must. A medium bodied lambic. Malts are fruity, tart, cheery and fruity. Lots of vinous character balanced by the semi sweet cherries. Then there is the must and leather. Mild carbonation. The tartness/mustiness grows on you. Interesting beer, there is a lot going on here. It does seem a little young and aging will really improve this beer. Mouthfeel is full. Finish is clean and crisp. Aftertaste is tart and musty. KnutAlbert (3217), Oslo, Norway
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 5, 2007 Red beer with low carboanation. On the dry, or rather sour side, the lambic aroma is overpowering the cherries. Rather thin.
I get a kind of throat lozenge feeling from this, Strepsils Cherry, anyone?
An interesting beer, but not my everyday tipple. Gr0ve (1426), Oslo, Norway
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 30, 2006 750 ml bottle. Dark red colour. For the most part clear, but there is a little haze there. Head is almost non-existent with only a small white rim. No cherry aroma, but a classic lambic aroma. Sourish. Aroma is not complex, but there are different things here, all well hidden. Red berries in the background. Carbonation is almost non-existent. Mouthfeel is thick and viscous. Lots of sour cherry here, but there is no classic sweet cherry flavours that most of us are used to. Light sourness and not that much barnyard aromas. Metallic aftertaste. I suspect it is too young. Lay down a few more years. Marked 01/03/2005.
