It’s slightly sour and tart with a nice cherry note and an underlying note of horseblanket. Very nice, just what I’m looking for in a Kriek. Light bodied, crisp and dry. frankenkitty (1903), Oak Lawn, Illinois, USA
| 2.6 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 4/5 | 4/10 | 3/5 | 10/20 | Oct 1, 2006 Vintage 2005 Pours a deep, thick, raspberry color with a skinny, pink ring above. Aroma drifts more into the territory of a lambic with barnyard yeasts dominating faint fruitiness. Acidity seems high. Sour, dry, yeasty flavor with just a hint of cherry. I was unimpressed despite the backstory relayed by Delilah’s owner MIke Miller regarding Schaerbeekse cherries.

| 4.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 18/20 | Sep 22, 2006 This dark red kriek poured with a bubbly pink head that dissipated rather quickly. The delicate cherry aroma was but a precursor to the wonderful tart, dry carbonated cherry flavor with a peppery finish. I love Schaerbeek cherries and I love lambics, so this one was made for me. The flavor is sour, cherries, and carbonation. Best lambic i ever tasted, but still not my style. feedmec00kies (49), New York, New York, USA

| 4.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 9/10 | 4/5 | 10/10 | 5/5 | 19/20 | Sep 4, 2006 Updated: Dec 19, 2007A Mes rate: As with the Kriekenlambik, from a 75cl bottle at the De Heeren Van Liedekerke 15 year celebration Garden Party and poured by Armand himself. As it stands at the moment, the best I have tried. Straight away the nose tells you these are special cherries. Slight hint of apple and a little cinnamon too. Incredible almost maroon colour with a very pink head that leaves generous lace. The flavour is utterly sublime. Even Sim liked it and lambics are definitely not her thing. Obviously it is pretty much all tart and dry cherries but the cinnamon is again quite noticable. As soon as you swallow some vanilla appears and then vanishes just as quickly leaving the dry cherries to finish. Just as you think that its done a wonderful strawberry note appears out of nowhere. Without doubt the most complex journey of a finsh I have experienced and one of the main things that makes this the absolute winner that it is. So good it is infact I had to rate my second glass as I simply could not talk during my first. Never has my first sip of a beer stopped me in my tracks like this. I was just sat there staring into space while Sim laughed at me. As close to perfection as I have ever had. Jukkabro (3038), Tampere, Finland
| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Sep 4, 2006 (ABV 5%). Dark red colored, small white head. Cherries and sourness are obvious in aroma, sweetness and some fruits can be found also. Medium bodied. Flavor is dry with cherries and sourness, aftertaste lasts long with sour touch of bubble gum. Crispy palated, at least when having this cold. cb (809), Wheat Ridge, Colorado, USA
| 4.4 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | Sep 3, 2006 Gorgeous beginning stage of meringue head , tinged almost calamine pink. True ruby hue underneath. Sugary almond extract and lots of premium balsamic vinegar in the aroma. Very tart and dry at first -- initially sucked all the moisture out of my mouth. Somewhat like chewing on a leaf. Suddenly, there was a rush of salive from nowhere and a ton of cranberry, crabapple and raspberry flavors emerged. Moss, oak, maybe some mold in the finish. Very unique and very lactic. Thanks so much Kevin!
