Feb 21, 2009 2005 - Bottle thanks to travita. Deep ruby in color and cloudy with a small white head. Aroma is tart with cherries and funk. Taste is sweet cherries followed by a zap of tartness and a dry finish.

Feb 16, 2009 Bottle. Pours a reddish purple with a minimal violet head. Aroma of brett, cherries, wood, and some funk. Taste is similar, but wasn’t quite as sour as the nose. Lots of cherries, dark fruits, wine, and spice, with consistent sour present. Fairly light body with medium carbonation. Very nice beer with a lot of complexity, but lacking the strong sour taste i associate with a lambic.

Feb 9, 2009 Bouteille verte, avec bouchon de liège, de 750 ml partagée lors d’une dégustation Ratebeer Montréal chez MartinT. Arôme: Légère odeur de cerises vinaigrées. Apparence: La couleur est ambrée. Présence d’une fine dentelle sur le verre. Saveur: Goût de vinaigre aux cerises fruités. Durée moyenne de l’arrière goût. Palette: Le corps est moyen avec une texture huileuse. Faible effervescence en bouche. Arrière goût légèrement vinaigré. (Rating #2201)

Feb 5, 2009 bottle thanks to travita!! congrats on 1000. poured a purplish with a violet head. aroma of cherry and a number of other aromas i was not able to pick out. flavor was a little tart with some cherries. light body and fizzy. thanks for the great brew travita.

Jan 30, 2009 1000th rating!!! 2005 vintage. The smell is cherry, oak, wood, tart, good complexity, horsey, and barnyard. The look is very red, cannot see through, no head. The taste is very dry, cherry flavor, sour, wood, and funky.

Jan 30, 2009 Bottle thanks to Travita. Pours a deep purple mixed with a little brown, light violet head. Aroma is great, sour grape, some brett, sour. Flavor is farmhouse, sour grape, very good. Mouthfeel is light-medium body, fizzy carbonation. Overall, Good stuff!

Jan 30, 2009 2005 Bottle thanks to Travita. Pours with a small white head that fades over a muddy purple body. Aroma has shifted away from the fruits with age. Lots of nice barnyard funk, cheesy with very light cherry notes. A bit acidic with leather as well. Kind of burns my nose a bit. Taste is funky and acidic, but no where near as sour as I was expecting (this was after drinking a 2006 La Folie thanks to Lumpy). Lively bubbles and a dry mouthfeel.
