2005 Bottle thanks to Travita. Pours with a small white head that fades over a muddy purple body. Aroma has shifted away from the fruits with age. Lots of nice barnyard funk, cheesy with very light cherry notes. A bit acidic with leather as well. Kind of burns my nose a bit. Taste is funky and acidic, but no where near as sour as I was expecting (this was after drinking a 2006 La Folie thanks to Lumpy). Lively bubbles and a dry mouthfeel.

2007 bottle courtesy of gunhaver. Pours a bright red cherry color with a thin white head. Aroma is sour and sweet with notes of cherry, vinegar, wood, mustiness, and funk. Flavor is sweet and tart with notes of ripe fruit, cherries, vinegary acidity, and some faint vanilla or spice notes. Generally medium body with a tart fruit finish.

Bottle, courtesy Retorp. Pours a cloudy hazy reddish apple, very very creamy head and lacing. Nose of tart cherries, some oak, caramel notes, and some mint. Flavors has tons of smooth tart notes, cherry, some raspberry, some unique sweetness in the finish. Very smooth and crisp body. Flavor lacks the huge tart edge that the nose has, but who cares, this beer is awesome.

07 Vintage. Thanks group for the share. Pours cherry red with nose of funk, clorox, and sour cherry. Flavor is sour cherry, sharp acidity, and vinegary tartness. Finishes dry with a vinegar tartness.

2006 vintage. Pours a nice red with a small pink head. Aroma is sour, cherry, musty, funky. Flavor is sour cherries, oak, a little sourness, there is a slightly medicinal cherry flavor in this one that I didn’t care for but all in all this was a pretty tasty lambic.

My 100th Belgian rating. 75cl Bottle from March 2006 almost 3 years old. Pours glowing unclear ruby red with a small super fine white/pinkish froth. Tart cherry aroma, very acidic, leather, dusty, pool water, actually each note is quite subtle. Great mouthful, unbelievably fine and sharp, tiny fizzy carbonation, medium body delivers flavors perfectly, really satisfies the palate, slightly syrupy in the finish. Really nice super tart cherry flavor, more tart than straight out acidic, nice juicy punch on the way down, really sour, lots of citric acid.
