reakt (855), Greater London, England Jun 1, 2007 Updated: Dec 18, 2007 Bottle from Uto. On opening the amusing 75cl bottle, I was a little put off. The aroma is very lager-ish. The colour very lager-ish. But the taste is something much more. It’s a lot like champagne - quite dry and fizzy. Loads of vanilla in the taste. Some apricot and peach hints. Very well rounded and smoooooooooth. Full bodied. Like honey in the mouth. Delicious.
glennmastrange (463), hobe sound, Florida, USA Nov 29, 2008 Bottle. Light malt note of straw, moderate hops and yeast of lemon and musty basement with white wine and alcohol in the background. Head is small, fizzy, white with fair lacing and is mostly lasting. Color is hazy gold, with large wispy chunks which dissolve after while. Flavor starts lightly sweet, moderately acidic and sour, then finishes lightly acidic and bitter. Palate is light, watery and has a lively carbonation. It finishes lightly alcoholic. A fruity beer with noticable Belgian attributes Gary (18), on vacation, France Nov 20, 2008 The cork is the original pain the ass to remove with silly mettal holder.Nicer drinking this on French soil than previously in UK . Its such a lagery ’de garde . Like a german Helles with Belgian hops and a woody suggestion in the finish. Its weird to think its over 8 % in this. Wen’t down smooth.
