hughie (2415), Bedford, Bedfordshire, England May 16, 2007 Cask at Wetherspoons, Milton Keynes. Amber with an off white head. Hoppy aroma and a spicy fruit flavour. The first taste is particularly inviting. Later impression is that this is a decent, straightforward beer with not much complexity beyond a sharply bitter finish. But it’s worth a try.
RichardGretton (2747), Leicestershire, England Nov 26, 2008 Bottle. Bronze beer with a strong head. The aroma is mildly caramel, and the flavour is toffee, hopped and mildly bitter. Overall a good beer. cgarvieuk (2613), Edinburgh, Scotland Oct 13, 2008 Cask at Cloisters Edinburgh ... very ligth hop nose, almost not there ... Nice clean and light hop ... little fruityness... little bitterness in linger ... very bright fresh and clean ... little grapefruit. weaselkenievil (397), Cheshire, England Oct 5, 2008 Bottle. Golden amber brown (texture like sun...) with pip squeak off white head. A littel watery, grapefruit and citrus, and a little smoke in the bitter finish perhaps? I was drunk and smoking at the time though. A little different and I’m glad I tried it. leaparsons (4057), Leicester, Leicestershire, England Jun 22, 2008 Bottle. Golden brown with a small off-white head. Aromas are nutty with caramel. Milk chocolate and berries. Flavours are dry and nutty with earthy hops. Hints of berry with spicy hops. Not a true IPA but not bad. Finn (1109), Tromsø, Norway Feb 17, 2008 Cask at The Crosse Keys (JDW) London EC3 5 Feb 08. Pale golden colored. A small creamy head. Hardly any aroma. Watery all the way.
