Commercial Description:
A deep copper colored American style ESB (Extra Special Bitter) made with lots of crystal malt and dry hopped for that West Coast "bite". Our ESB yields an earthy, fruity aroma followed by a rich caramel, spicy flavor. The finish is slightly sweet and aromatic.

Nice dark copper pour and an aroma of caramel and hops. Earthy malt taste with a nice smattering of hops, and a nice finish, perhaps not bitter enough, but good regardless. A pretty good beer, goes well with about anything they have on the menu. The atlanta restaurant by the way is a fine place to eat... the bar guys are cool and they’ll keep em coming.

Copperhead is such a damn cool name that i had to get it plus, i hadnt had an esb in a while. Copper pipe color on it with a decent white head. Lots of dark sugars in it like caramels and butterscotch. Thick on the malts, with some hops showin. Damn near solid beer.

Draft. Coppery brown pour. Pronounced aroma of caramel malts and maybe some nuts. Initial caramel sweet flavors, with a medium light body. More pronounced fruity raisins in the flavor than expected. This beer finished extremely bready and yeasty. Maybe a light to medium bitter finish. Decent enough I thought.

Slight hop aroma. Decent bitterness throughout with a good malty finish. A good ESB.

Copper hued with a small off-white head and little lace. The aroma hints of caramel, hazelnut, floral hops, and zesty yeast esters. Nice malty tones with a grapefruit midsection noted during tasting. A bitter and slightly smoky finish. The mouthfeel is dry and astringent, thin. Average beer and not within the style, quaffable never the less.

Noted the slightly fruitiness and more malty nature of the style. I think that the "bite" noted on the commercial description is a bit misleading; there isn't much hop flavor. Tasty though, I'd get it again.

Nice amber color with an off white head that was quick to dissipate. Nice caramel presence some slight hop bite toward the finish.
