Commercial Description:
A deep copper colored American style ESB (Extra Special Bitter) made with lots of crystal malt and dry hopped for that West Coast "bite". Our ESB yields an earthy, fruity aroma followed by a rich caramel, spicy flavor. The finish is slightly sweet and aromatic.

I *really* enjoyed this beer. Excellent fruity/aromatic hoppy flavor, goes down smooth, little bitter aftertaste. Left me wondering why they call it a "bitter" though. An excellent local brew.

Draft, shaker glass. Lots of caramel malt with touches of honey and brown sugar. Flowery/herb hops are less powerful than the malt. Deep brown-red-copper body with almost no head. Moderately sweet throughout with a moderate, spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, creamy texture, flat carbonation. The bottom line is: another winner from 5 seasons.

Nice amber color with an off white head that was quick to dissipate. Nice caramel presence some slight hop bite toward the finish.

Draft at the Sandy Springs location, poured a copper color with a very nice head and lacing, as good as you can get within this style. The aroma was herbal hops, biscuits, and esters. The flavor followed suit with some citrus notes, toffee, and light caramel also present. Mouthfeel was moderately bodied, on par for the style, and pretty crisp and clean. A nice brew.

The color of a nice alt - red-brown with a little greenish tinge. Muted aroma. Chalky palate. Medium-light body. Dry, a bit tart, woody bittering. Extremely good session beer. Lightish body, no unpleasant aftertaste, though the bitter lasts for a bit. Quite good.

This is a deep clear brown with a puffy cream of a light khaki head. There's plenty of caramelly malt in the aroma and tast, but there's not a lot of hop bitterness. Nice fruitiness. With a light hoppy finish that is a little lemon and a little herb. There's a very creamy mouthfeel that makes this a very satisfying beer.

Rich red/brown with lacing in white. Pine touch tot he nose. Citrus, orange, flavors of gum, candy. Carbonated in a frothy way, nice touch of bitterness in the finish. Balanced, friendly, comfortable. (on tap at brewpub)

Copperhead is such a damn cool name that i had to get it plus, i hadnt had an esb in a while. Copper pipe color on it with a decent white head. Lots of dark sugars in it like caramels and butterscotch. Thick on the malts, with some hops showin. Damn near solid beer.
