Excellent fruity/aromatic hoppy flavor, goes down smooth, little bitter aftertaste. Left me wondering why they call it a "bitter" though. An excellent local brew. wunderbier (1267), Tampere, Finland

Flowery/herb hops are less powerful than the malt. Deep brown-red-copper body with almost no head. Moderately sweet throughout with a moderate, spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, creamy texture, flat carbonation. The bottom line is: another winner from 5 seasons. biermonk (259), San Francisco, California, USA

| 3.8 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 5/5 | 8/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | Apr 14, 2007 Draft at the Sandy Springs location, poured a copper color with a very nice head and lacing, as good as you can get within this style. The aroma was herbal hops, biscuits, and esters. The flavor followed suit with some citrus notes, toffee, and light caramel also present. Mouthfeel was moderately bodied, on par for the style, and pretty crisp and clean. A nice brew. Aurelius (2652), Tallahassee, Florida, USA
| 3.7 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Dec 27, 2005 The color of a nice alt - red-brown with a little greenish tinge. Muted aroma. Chalky palate. Medium-light body. Dry, a bit tart, woody bittering. Extremely good session beer. Lightish body, no unpleasant aftertaste, though the bitter lasts for a bit. Quite good. aracauna (2391), Georgia, USA

There's plenty of caramelly malt in the aroma and tast, but there's not a lot of hop bitterness. Nice fruitiness. With a light hoppy finish that is a little lemon and a little herb. There's a very creamy mouthfeel that makes this a very satisfying beer. Nuffield (2724), Roseville, Minnesota, USA

Copper pipe color on it with a decent white head. Lots of dark sugars in it like caramels and butterscotch. Thick on the malts, with some hops showin. Damn near solid beer.
